We must always check the bikes, snowmobiles,A.T.Vs,cars & others & make sure they have enough energy to travel out through the day, otherwise we could end up like Kevin or worst, but thank God Kevin's alive
I was riding a dirt bike once when the brakes went out I flipped over on it and I had a bump on the side of my head and scraped up my arms pretty good but all glory to god I’m good but safety always comes first when riding these dirt bikes
Today marks the 34th anniversary of Kevin’s accident so he and Kenny are both 47 now. This happened on a Wednesday. If he had been alone that day, Kevin would have lost his life. I’m sure he could never thank Kenny enough for what he did for him. At the time this happened I was living in Fountain Hills Arizona, and I have family who lived in Texas from my mother’s side. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina now. I had just turned 7 and was getting ready to start first grade at the time. If anything like this, happens to my brother, or anything bad, I’ll be there for him and he’d do the same for me.
The way he hit the ground his helmet cracked. His elbow pad and shoulder pad on his left arm was cracked as well. Back then safety gear was not very well padded.
this looks like Canadian rive north of amarillo tx love to ride at that place update this is Canadian river offroad. where there at right now is now a big hole covered in water and 50 inch tractor tire will get stuck there
So freaking scary! Every single person who was involved in this played a vital role. His brother was very smart to immediately think to pack him in to keep him in place. Everyone except the emt had to run into the location and did it with full motivation and power to get to him. I know once that chopper was in hearing range they were ecstatic.
If you are driving a motorcycle, always beware you're surroundings, definitely when it comes to forests and fields and watch out for hills , take you're time don't rush, one wrong move, that's all it takes
Ayyyyyyyy I slammed into a tree going 50+ mph and destroyed most of my left side and upper body. I'm only 16 and I'm less mobile than my dad who's diabetic and doesn't take care of himself lol. I have migraines and very rarely seizures which sucks and I suck at staying on topic. I'm all over the place lol it sucks.
You know when I saw this show Once I saw a horse who fell off a cliff luckily he was okay they didn't find anything wrong with the horse nothing at all of course when his owner saw him fall like that she thought that her horse was either dead or they going to have to put him down luckily he never did have to be put down he was never hurt he did have pain but he did not have life-threatening injuries and. When they find a helicopter they better stick with it because if something like this happens again they know that they cannot get the ambulances or emergency vehicles down there.
This is like a time warp. 1989... So that's what things looked like when I was a kid, except their dad was kind to them. I never saw a large, analog bag phone until a few years later. That was brand new tech.
cellphones still usually have less range than 2 way radios and more likely to be interfered but some cells have a push to talk options app that make them into 2 way radios
Well, couldn't they have called the United States Coast guard? United States Coast Guard is about saving people. I don't know how far away Coast Guard was to them.
They actually did have cell phones in the 80's it's just that they weren't common place like they are now. The guy in the truck was on a car phone, pretty high tech for 1989. Some of the things you see from shows of that decade you would never do now, like ride in the back of a truck. People now almost crap their pants because it's unsafe but can give themselves all this radiation from tv, ipads, cell phones is okay.
My father and uncle’s names are Kenny and Kevin so these 2 boys and my father and uncle have a coincidence that they have the same names and are brothers.
