Hi, do you mean using the same twin ropes as the casualty as shown in the video? If so it's still in the syllabus for L2 and L3 but L1s use an additional set of ropes for their rescue.
Nice I prefer this way but on my last course they had me putting the casualty on ther I’d before counter balance then a normal snatch which in my opinion takes longer
Hi, the Petzl ID and Rig descender require the additional friction karabiner with a two person load as stated in the instructions. It creates extra friction making it easier to control the descent.
@@independentropes4922 I wonder, from a not-yet-certified-guy point of view: why not use a set of two carabiners, one on the D-rings on your side for example and the second through the carabiner of the descender so you don't have to hold the rope up when descending with a casualty?
