And the "Touche Turtle" hat is probably Robin Hood's hat or Prince Ali's hat. I just got so excited seeing the possible Hanna-Barbera references, that's where my head went ha ha!

As a big fan of Peter Pan, I'm just happy to see him again after all these years. I've also got a theory regarding him. Basically, he represents what happens to child actors when they grow up. If you know the story of Macaulay Culkin, you'll understand why. I have a feeling he's just a red herring and will actually become one of the heroes in the end. Since we see him a lot in the trailer, I assume he will have a big role. As for his name, I think Mean Bean is just a new alias that he has adopted as the villain he is now. Now that I think about it, I wonder what happened to Captain Hook.

I think the villain's plan is to do something like Buffalo Bill from silence of the lamb: harvesting body part from toons then graft onto anyone who is willing to pay. And I also notice most if not all body parts are 2d. so this might be something to do with the whole 2d to 3d surgery thing. maybe some former 2d toons want to change back, or some 3d toons want to go 2d

These days I mostly try to avoid trailers and trailer analysis but I've been watching all your videos on this movie because there's honestly no way any of us can predict what's gonna happen in this crazy whirlwind of a movie. I never watched Rescue Rangers but I'm still so excited

Feels kinda inappropriate to call "celebrity voice cast" when Will Arnett, Bojack Horseman and LEGO Batman's voice actor, is right there

I still got a feeling that claytective Is gonna be the obvious villain (since some clay people can shapeshift), or maybe there gonna pull a Penelope (Sly Cooper) on poor Gadget.

I just gotta get this out of my chest real quick, just from seeing that creature made out of many character parts, i think, just ,maybe.. it's the cat villian from the old rescue rangers show. I looked closer at the head's details and saw the black hair and mustache on the head, i don't know if his name is mittens or something, but it would make sense that the old villian of the old show is after them after all these years from the show cancelling. We even might get a backstory of how he lost his body parts and had to hire different characters to fix him, that's my theory on my part.

Really not into the Chip'n Dale thing, but out of nowhere I thought that trailer really interesting. How they made this movie is refreshing and the nostalgia doesn't seem cheesy. Sad that the cartoon animations are CGI, but you can't get everything I guess. I would actually go see it.

This looks like a celebration of cartoons kinda like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" since in that movie there were both WB and Disney properties there...

I saw Dave Lee's breakdown video on this, and when I saw that Smurf hat in that paused shot on the wall, I knew you were going to freak out. But let me potentially one-up this reference by saying that, with Nickelodeon characters being used, what with Ickis's mouth and Jimmy Neutron's hair... We could actually see a TMNT reference in this movie. Sorry in advance for getting your hopes up.

Still unsure about this film however it did put a smile on my face seeing all the references/nods to non-Disney cartoon characters.

I think you’re right that somebody took Chip’s ear, but that looks more like a Goofy-style ear in its place. I thing that they got switched somehow, or maybe Chip replaced it the best he could.

This is the second time that Sailor Moon has popped up in a Disney+ show / movie! First in 2021 The Proud Family: Prouder and Louder streaming series (season 1, episode 9 named "Raging Bully") and now in the 2022 Rescue Rangers movie. What is going on, Disney? Well I’m strangely excited for this movie which is surprising since I didn’t grow up with the show!!! Never have I seen this many references in a movie trailer?

An interesting question popped in my head. Some of those trophies on the wall were from 3D CG characters like Jimmy Neutron. Does that mean he was originally 2D? Is this procedure the only way to get CG toons or are they created naturally?

The diversity of animation choices feels similar to The Amazing World of Gumball. The plethora of references feel like Space Jam 2 without the cringe.

Oh yeah, Andre. I think this trailer recontextualizes that "Nobody likes a reboot" line in the first one. I think that Chip is so broken up about the Rescue Rangers' show getting canceled, he doesn't trust any kind of follow-up to be good.

Is it just me or is the replaced ear looking like Snoopy's ear? Also, my theory is that it's a VERY old school villain that is trying to use the "Hush" method from Batman to get back into popularity. Basically thinking that if he meshes enough nostalgia bits from various characters together, then they'll be able to amass a following because they remind everyone of something they loved from their childhood.

I kinda want to see in the movie a little MacGyver (85) reference because both intros to the show have a part that sounds exactly the same (The 'Chip-Chip-Chip-And Dale' part)

Toons getting kidnapped for nefarious reasons? Isn't this just the episode of Bonkers where Bonkers and Lucky had to rescue a bunch of kidnapped toons from the guy called The Collector who turned out to be just a deranged human thinking he was a toon?

The fact that they are just “actors” takes away a lot of the nostalgia for me. I wish this was more in the vein of Roger Rabbit & have new characters and your main & through them you see the “real world” of cartoon making. A lot of the ideas I like, but kinda wish they didn’t use the Rescue Rangers name as clickbait

Gadget being the villainess for the movie makes sense perhaps she was to reinvent cartoons for the next generation but took it too far or it could be a scheme masterminded by Dexter from Dexter's Lab

Disney had to pull a lot of strings to get things they don’t own

really fearing they'll pull a "scrappy-do" with gadget here... she seems to be oddly absent from this movie...

yesss the body part transfixer thats the device from a classic episode of CDRR where Gadgets head was one DDales body and vice versa same with monty and zipper Nimnul is taking it even further and that beast is FATCAT all the way searching fro more power and the rocket arm a ref to zurg in Lightyear, also the Strike clone in Fortress starring Christopher Lambert, and has a lil look of the ZF-1 if more rockets were added the Zorg best weapon from the 5th element also the car scene is a cross reef to PICARD thats the same road 7 and Raffi drive down in the police car and even the older gentleman wearing the indiana jones cloths looks a lot like Sir Patick Stewart when chip changes into the Indy Disguise

That detective shaving off some of his skin gives me the shivers. I would totally not enjoy that as a child.

Y'know; i may have actually gone to see this in theatres... Saw Sonic 2 yesterday and enjoyed myself. Kinda wish there was a toy of the Death Egg Robot... Also the dog showed up at the baseball game, so he was unharmed in the house attack.

I never really care for this kind of thing but I love hearing you talk about it and it makes me kinda want to watch this movie

funny that in the mlp reference they only have fluttershy, rainbow, pinkiepie and applejack as well as a character who looks like one of the Beta designs for Sunny from the most recent MLP film. The reason I lik this is that if you didn't know Apple Jack and Rainbow share a voice actress and Fluttershy shares a voice with Pinkie Pie meaning this is likely a reference to how MLP voices are often shown at conventions in pairs and very rarely do you get the Mane 6 all together. :3

The mom from Phineas and Ferb is in the opening shot. The umbrella definitely belongs to Jiminy Cricket. His hat is also in the shot, right above Pink Panther's muzzle.

Personally I feel like this was something meant for streaming from the start as I don't recall them ever announcing it for theatres, plus it's probably why the animation budget's a little cheap here.
