How can anyone with the least bit of compassion allow an animal to get feet like these?!? The poor master is faced with an animal in pain, no training to have it's legs touched or handled, and joints that are badly damaged and will show up more as the animal ages. My hat's off to him for doing what he can to ease the suffering.
Gracias maestro Du ! 😢😢😢😢
This man is doing the best he can with the tools available. In developed areas, we have expensive equipment to help get the job done. Look at how he helps these neglected animals to live a much better life with his compassion and skills. The "nose twist" is actually using a pressure point that releases endorphins to naturally calm the animal.
@Russell Edwards Thank you for your comment! I totally agree! This tool is very sharp and highly efficient! Plus the whole process of trimming is done much faster and the animal doesn't have to stand on a hurting hoof for too long.
Poor donkey. :( People who let their animals suffer like this should be punished. Sadly, in many places there are no laws to protect animals, or the laws are ignored. I'm glad he will feel better now.
I don’t know - it seems to work fine. It’s just the owners need to take better care of their animals. I just don’t like that nose twisting thing - seems bizarre. So looking it up, apparently even vets use a “twitch” on equines for keep them calm during procedures and it releases endorphins.
If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, get hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well!
It's criminal to allow that to happen to any donkey or horse. Criminal. Thank you for helping it. In case anyone is wondering what he was doing to the nose of the donkey, it's called a "nose twitch" and it keeps them calm. It doesn't hurt or injure them.
It's heart breaking seeing these beautiful animals treated and worked the way they are they are such amazing animals and such fun loving what I would give to own a field with some donkeys are just beautiful. ❤️👍👏👏
That's the Coronet Band where the hoof grows from. In English it's the Hoof, Coronet Band, then the Pastern and then the Fetlock. Long bone is the Cannon Bone. Next is the Knee. Is this really a rescue? Very glad to see how he helped this Donkey. That was a very difficult situation. In Canada, some ranchers of Beef Cattle keep Donkeys in their herds to help protect calves against predictors. They well chase away the predator. They can be fierce. As pets and permanent Pasture Pals, donkeys are very gentle and loyal. Very good to have around.
How is it even legal not to have your animal trimmed well in China? They are NOT things, but living beings. I thought you were Buddhist and respected life.
It's not the Donkeys knees, it's the hocks! And trimming the hooves will not repair the damage done to those joints, the Donkey will have terrible pain the rest of it's life!
The rot is caused by the animal walking in wet .these animals aren't used to being in such a wet nasty environment .they are a desert rocky terrain style animal .
I dont like that you never bring the little table close enough so you dont have to pull the leg in such an uncomfortable way for the donkey. Thats why he fights you. Im sure it hurrs to be pull in such a way. 😥😥😥
It seems to be to control the kicking. If the nose was hurting from the twisting the more it moved, the less likely to kick. Temporary discomfort for the donkey, instead of skull fracture for the farrier.
All i see is painfully abused donkeys getting trimmed and expectations of instant healing. They shouldn't have been in this state in the first place no matter how professional the trimmer is.
Poor thing, these people are so cruel letting these donkeys go so long without cutting there hoofs. Look at the pain there in. So sad. Thank God for this man cutting the hoofs.
It's possible the farmer rescued it from a bad environment. I have rescued a few horses that had terrible hooves. When I first got my donkey, he had "elf shoes"..... took me a while to get him to let me trim him. Since then, he comes to me easily when he needs work
I like very much that when the donkey gets upset and wants to fight, Master DOES NOT GET UPSET! I respect Master for his understanding that the donkey has not been handled, is in pain and it hurts to stand on three bad feet! But my best to Master for his thoughtfulness to this poor neglected donkey. Shame to the donkey's owner! Double SHAME!!!
