We are all about raising and training our horses, the Missouri Foxtrotter. Our goal is to bring awareness to this breed and showcase just how wonderful they are! I get the feeling Oliver just didn't understand why his owners were cruel to him - didn't care properly for him - didn't feed him properly - treated him with abuse and ugliness and evil. He just accepted and accepted and kept waiting for the day he'd be treated like he was when he was a baby on his first farm, just hoping the owners would stop being evil and would finally act right and hold out a kind generous hand. Well, they couldn't do that, because they let the devil in their heart. You are good people, on the other hand, and now I get the feeling Oliver understands exactly how lucky he is and he's soaking in every bit of care and compassion and love he can from his new people and just hoping it stays this way. Thank you for being the kind hand Oliver deserves.

i just hope the cash Oliver brought to his previous mates in the farm he was neglected at , was used to help his mates there he left behind there. I am just flabbergasted why they treated him so . He is everything ❤.

This is hilarious! Correction - Oliver is hilarious! In the beginning when you are brushing him & informing us of the EPM medication & what exactly that is, it's as if he's saying, "C'mon Dad! Don't stop brushing me! I'm being polite as I can be by waiting as patiently as I can, but you keep stopping! Stopping & talking! Just brush me please? Don't stop!" He keeps trying to turn his head to nudge you to get your attention! It's just extremely cute of the young fella! ❤

Oliver looks really fab and is coming along really well. It's really great that he has gained weight. Now he is lying down he can finally enjoy being a horse and have a good role when he is ready. I agree! Let’s all support OLIVER’s FAMILY now….not just one time, every month, other than the Patreon fee. If 22,000 followers donated just $1 that’s 22,000 dollars…duh…but $5 is 110,000 dollars, that’s what I’m talking about! Whomever can give more, do that, whomever can’t, then that’s ok.. not a problem. But there are needs on the homestead that are unspoken, but seen. Need employees to work on the grass, hay, etc. and daily mucking of barns, stalls, work on fences, electric fences, going for supplies, bathing horses, ferrier care of horses, weighing horses, documention of all care and events of horses, showing horses, just a lot of needs…I SEE THE NEEDS, DO YOU?

Somehow I see a hot water tank being added to that bathing/stock setup. Your viewers love this boy, if they can't send any more apple treats, they might get creative with other upgrades in life! Even on a hot day some warmed hose water for a bath is a nice treat. Not a guarantee but just a prediction.

Poor Oliver! His previous owners did a terrible job of caring for him. He's looking better and more alert than when you first got him, he's definitely getting good food and medication and hopefully on the road to recovery. Now,now,….previous owners maybe did the best they could do. They saw they could not care for their horses and just started trying to sell them too late. At least that is what I’m hoping happened…BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD, THERE GO I ……

EPM isn’t from abuse or neglect. The other issues (anemia etc) needed to be addressed obviously and were likely connected to the level of care Oliver had been receiving, but I have a horse that went undiagnosed with EPM from two different vets. They both recommended dietary changes etc etc, but neither ever mentioned EPM. It wasn’t until the horse had an episode where he couldn’t swallow that they were able to diagnose it. The symptoms were nowhere near as bad as Oliver had (thank goodness) and my horse has made a full recovery. Not everyone should have horses, but nobody knows what the whole story is…easy to point fingers and criticize.

There is a similar story here on RU-vid however the horse is a Shire and the Shire made an incredible recovery. I don’t think that horse had EPM but was definitely neglected. It took lots of love, care, and training to rebuild the muscles but I think Oliver now has the ability to become an amazing stallion too. I am so happy for him.

Praying he has a complete recovery, because most of us know EPM is a nasty disease. Love all your doing for this handsome boy ❤️.
