What a beautiful store, they really care for their fish. I love how they treat the bettas. Wish there were more stores like this. To bad I don't live anywhere near this store. I would have loved to buy a beta from here.

You know what my absolute favorite thing about 360 is? Is that there's little chairs/stools that you can roll around and just stare at the fish, it's pretty relaxing and entertaining

Now that is how you are supposed to do it. Walmart or any place that sells bettas that are getting sick or dying should be rescued for free. There are people that love these fish and will take good care of them. Much respect to you sir!!!

What wallmart sees: Our sales for betta fish have increased, lets get more. In reality: more suffering for betta. Alternate reality: he dosent buy them. What wallmart sees: sales for betta have decreased so lets stop stocking them.

Those tanks are better than putting them to cups that has less water. I love how you treat the bettas more power and bless you. So sad that I live here in the Philippines and I live so far from that shop how I wish I can grab one of those bettas but well I should be going to one of the petshops here I guess.

I love my beta. I've had 3 guys named blue now. They only live like 2 years but mine give me so much joy.

Well you rescued abuse bettas and recover them awesome. I'm in American writing from Taiwan and I've only been in the betta hobby for about nine months but I already have five bettas. I found that smaller fish actually can become overwhelmed if the tank is too large and they actually begin to lose color and die. Another problem I had with buying fish in Taiwan is that when I tell them that there's something wrong with the betta they tell me just because the baby is eating there's nothing wrong with him or her. What I do is I combine the best techniques with both worlds. Sadly we don't have tanks like they do in the states that come with a lid we only have fish aquariums so I've had to improvise when it comes to properly. However we do have a high-quality betta food that is equivalent to Omega one. I wish we had like frozen bloodworms and things like that but we don't. For the larger betts they get to gallons. And for the smaller babies they get a gallon. I find that anubias really works well and seeing that the roots don't need to be planted basically I create a floating island of anubias they have a place to and plenty room to swim. For the one gallon tanks. For the 2 gallon they have a smooth piece of Driftwood with anubias tied to them and a very nice betta cave that's made out of terracotta. It looks like a water jar with three holes in it so I like to take a little bit of extra anubias and put some just not enough in the so anubias will stay. Of course they all have filters and I add an extra sponge which keeps the water very but properly the water and I found that using using purified water that I have access to email is better than using chemicals and tap water. I do have a critter keeper that I used as an aquarium but I don't like it because the plastic isn't clear. I'll be actually recycling those and buying another aquarium for my red veil tail. I try to buy The Vedas that tend to look unhealthy because I like to restore them. Typically what I do is I will buy the bettas where the water is not clean and their coloring is gone. I found that water at the proper temperature and a little bit of aquarium salt with aloe vera really brings back their color and also just to be safe I keep an eye on them for a few weeks to see if they have any fungus or bacteria if I will pay them in blue medication to kill fungus and pretty much anything else. Another thing that I like to do is go to the store for stores that are in my area and I'll weekly inspect the fish to make sure they have bring water if I find fish batter and drinking cups in the water is not clean I will actually set them in front of the calendar and please ask the woman in Chinese to contact a staff member who works with fish and because the this it causes them to lose face so I noticed every time I walk in now the fish are in much better condition yeah. Basically all my tanks are set up. low-flow filters. Filters that use sponges inside and on the filter pipe itself. Since I've owned bettas I've never had them become injured by the and I don't have difficulties with with swimming. Sadly in my nine months I've lost 8 bettas. Two died of unknown causes I was doing proper water changes. One died of old possibly one died due to the shrimp that I had in with it. And the other beat is died mainly because I change tank size. For example I first started off with a baby betta. He was a beautiful crowntail that was black with a side of blue and his fins were like a reddish orange color. I put in a floating plant which allowed him to rest on it and he had a small little heater. He was doing great eating while swimming well no problems he was healthy. I read that bettas need large thanks so I switch them over to a 3-gallon and over time he.begin to lose color and deteriorate I had no idea it was because of the tank size. So I made a promise to myself that small fish such as babies and small females when neither have half a gallon or a gallon tank and being on how well they feel comfortable. Larger bettas would be given to gallons. I know people say you need 5 gallons I think it depends on the size of the betta the strength of the beta.. Friends sample I just came home with a beautiful. he's black on top of his head and his body is blue and red. But he's in a 2 gallon tank and he's doing just fine. I have a yellow veil tail has like a marbled black on him as well but I had him in that tank and he was miserable when I switch them over to the one gallon he was thrilled. He started swimming happily and enjoying his pellets.. Sometimes bigger isn't always better it depends on the betta. I wanted to say that I was deeply inspired by your videos. I was wondering if you have Facebook I would love to send you pictures of my bettas my frog and my cat. I also have a garden up on my closet. I'ma self-supported non-denominational Christian Missionary living in Taiwan. You seem very kind and a very honorable man and I'd like to be friends with you if that's okay. If there's any way I could send you pictures I would really love for you to see what we have in Taiwan. We really do have beautiful elephant ears are difficult to find you actually have to buy them online. We typically get a lot of blue and red veiltail switch are beautiful. Occasionally you can come across a peach veiltail like the one I found. Various kinds of crown tails are very popular. It's easy to find various kinds of substrate whether it's colored gravel sand that has more like a gravel texture.. Truly I think that pet stores try to do a good job but sometimes some of the workers don't have the heart to do what's right. But I find gently causing them to lose shame helps them to get their act together.

Those Congo Tetras are adult size, I have some in my planted tank. I recommend checking into Longfin Fire Barbs. Beautiful fish, I have some of those as well.

I rescue for 4:Betta fish last month from Walmart one passed away the other three are doing good so I don't need to pick up any, anyway I live in Chicago

In my experience those Dragon Gobies will be beaten up or eaten by more aggressive fish. They also do poorly in fresh water.

Mangrove sounds good nice touch The fish you want to add to the Odd Ball Aquarium are Brackish fish Dragon Gobies I have them with Molles and Guppies in a 125 they are hiders but they do come out a lot very territorial though each fish needs its own home I have 3 they are 16-18 inches there are several different species of them but they do best with salt in the water long term I feed mine Blood worms and artemia and Mysis I have had my for over 2 yrs when I got them they were about 7 inches they like warm water 80, is good.
