Speaking of that, the reason the rabbit's eyes are closed and it isn't moving indicates they have gone into a state called "Toxic Immobility" It means that they are in such shock or terror that they are paralyzed and cannot move or make noise. It also happens to them if they're held or placed on their backs...or given a bath with water. (Don't do that either) Basically, they are playing dead to try and get the predators (or misguided rabbit 'savers') to go away and leave them alone.
