UPDATE 7/29/14: At this point I have sold most of the good usable parts and scrapped the bad rusty parts from this 111. The tractor no longer exists.
So I discussed with my neighbor up the lane about the 111 next door. He told me that it actually was NOT his tractor and it was dumped there by the previous property owner before the empty property was sold to the current farmer in 1999. The farmer who owns it now definitely doesn't know about it since it was tucked away. So the 111 had been sitting there for 15 years...it's hard to imagine it living such a short life before being parked. I'm still trying to figure out why it was dumped there, besides the fact that it has no front wheels.
My original plan to get it out of there was to get the Ford loader tractor in there and lift it out because I didn't think the 210 would be able to maneuver the thing through the trees. But I decided to try out my new tow strap that I got for Christmas. Thanks to my buddy Cody Johnstonbaugh, I was able to go in there with my floor jack, jack the front end out of the ground, then pick it up and swing it around once I backed up the 210 to it. Wrapped the tow strap around the front axle, put the 210 in fourth gear, and yanked her right out. You guys see what goes on in the video. I pulled it into the yard and the next day I towed it behind the shed and stuck a pallet under it to hold it up.
Then today I went back to retrieve the mower deck. I could not mount it to the 210 since it uses different mounting hardware, and my tow strap could not be fastened to it so I had to come up with another plan. I borrowed my uncle's old JD model 80 dump cart (minus the EZ Vac system) and brought it into the woods to carry home the mower deck. After backing it up the hill I put the deck in it (a perfect fit) and hauled it home. Now to start tearing into this thing! Anyone want parts?
