Is grounded theory is context generalization.... Bcoz its inductive n qualitative so, inductive is generalization therefore is it grounded theory also context generalization??
In inductive reasoning, we move from specific observations to general conclusions. This means generalization occurs based on specific instances. However, in qualitative or inductive research, the results are often context-bound, making it difficult to generalize findings to other contexts. In contrast, quantitative research tends to produce context-free generalizations. Grounded theory, being qualitative, relies on inductive reasoning-it draws general conclusions from specific observations. However, the generalizations made in grounded theory are typically bound to the specific context in which the research is conducted, rather than being universally applicable.
In a stratified sampling, researchers divide a population into homogeneous subpopulations called strata based on specific characteristics (e.g., age, gender etc.). Hence each stratum (singular of strata) is homogeneous.
