This video is the second in the Surfacing and Spanning Boundaries series and features Melanie Bauer a Research Development professional situated in a central research department at Nova Southeastern University in South Florida, USA. In the webinar “Research Development Professionals Stepping Outside Institutional Habit Boundaries,” she discusses how research development professionals can break outside their typical roles, using as an example a $300K NSF grant that she won in collaboration with a statewide research development network to develop a team science training program for faculty working on use-inspired research targeted at intractable societal issues.
Moderated by: Christine Hendren from Intereach
