You should do a live. You're not the only one in that space. I watch Mogi, Mackenzie and Caley Elaine too and aspire to reach their sales. But that's why I watch you, you are on the come up just like me. Honestly I don't even make your sales. I also sold to Plato's and Uptown Cheapskate after watching Jack Valentine. I hadn't figured it out yet but I know they like plus plus size, like 3X-5X. We're all in it together😁

@@VIAGLO unfortunately yes. I say yes bc it’s the only way I earn income but I’m not as disciplined as you are which is why I don’t reap your results. Maybe as another stream of income, you could start a paid membership to the girlies who need structure help. I’d pay. Especially because you’re not doing the booth.

Watching your videos motivates me to thrift. I went to a Goodwill yesterday and found Anthropologie NWT items that are still selling on their website. Went to a yard sale this morning and found a Kenzo sweatshirt. Hope you have amazing sales.

I am just a part-time reseller and I started my small biz like 8 mos ago… so I am not very experienced but here is what I figured out. I always go to Platos first bc in my experience they offer more but they are quite selective and don’t take as many items as UC does. So I often feel like it is a pain in the * when they rummage through my box and take like 5 items. Then I go to UC with the ‘rest’ and they surprisingly accept weird and not super quality items like denim with puckering, handbags with stains etc. Oh and latlely I started to do a Once upon a child errand every two-three weeks - my bins are relatively cheap (1.69 per lbs) - so it still worth to pick up nicer kids clothes and get cash. Overall I think I should do better when I am at the bins sourcing and not to pick up risky items 😅 but thats why I am here, to learn from you 😊

I guess locations are going to vary by locations/ items you have. Plato’s pays me the least so I never prioritize them lol but I do source middle aged brands. Ugh that is great, I wish a once upon a time was near me, I’d definitely keep them in business 😅

I never sell to buy sell trades. If it’s good enough for them to give me a decent amount of money, it’s good enough for me to sell myself. But I don’t normally go to the bins. They aren’t good around here. I do like to source at Plato’s Closet for rare common brand items and more obscure high end brands they just don’t know. Every time I’m getting ready to go to Plato’s, I research a common Plato’s brand like Abercrombie to see what items are rare and/or selling high. They have pretty low ceiling prices on even high end stuff, so if you know those brands like MADHAPPY, The Great, etc. They price them like target clothes. I paid $24 for a pair of Versace slides and sold them for $200 quick.

That makes sense. My bins are good enough for the most part. I’m noticing that I get a higher payout on stuff that I was trying to sell that wouldn’t sell but they’ll take because of the brands. My clothes mentor is decently priced too! I’ve bought a few items there too. Awesome find 😁

Great vlog. I found a Marcella dress it is stunning, it's long length black goes behind the neck with one sleeve like an event dress. It was a great pick, I think, not sold yet. I start going to buy, sell. trade stores to see what they are about. I have to be very selective because if space oh bug I can't wait. Sales have been extra slow. My uptown is the same as far as policy goes. If you stay in store when they go through your items then you can accept or decline (they wont process your items until you approve) but if you leave then they process immediately. I was a manager at platos closet when they first opened the one in my hometown and they really were just trying to implement different policies to be "better" than platos & them trying to get you to stay and wait for your items is their way of trying to control how many buys they are holding behind the counter (when they first opened a lot of platos were having issues with ppl not coming back for their things). I don't sell to them often though, but always stay if I do.

Nothing was wrong with the booth business itself, just going through a transition and I don’t have the extra time/ business partner to follow through with it anymore. You should try it! I know someone that has a few booths there and she loves it. She told me she’s making $500~ every two weeks.

Last week at UC brought in a lot....couldn't barely lift it, and she after 2 hrs, no text or email I go there and she said I am sorry but all your items are old styles, we are not buying anything. Ok. So I am carrying to car and I am thinking hmmmm this seems lighter. I set it aside at home, 3 days later I make a sale from something and I go in there and it is gone and I look at my pictures, and there was 8 items missing! So I go there and they were like oh we have your items here, I am sorry I told you that on Saturday, I hope that wasn't me! They gave me about 38 dollars AND still had my item that sold that I was able to take back which sold for 20. So honest mistake? I guess. I will bring in less and be more aware next time. This is the 3rd time I went to a BST and the 2nd time I've been told they didn't buy anything but did :(.

@@VIAGLO there’s a brand called morbid threads that sells well(sometimes there’s no name of the brand on the label, it’s just a skull with a bow 💀 🎀, but the more desirable vintage label is spelled out)and of course tripp nyc!
