Setup makeover diaries!! my favourite! Like I said in the previous, this is really a great format for your setup videos to watch while relaxing. keep up the good work~~
Hand Lubed switches are a lot of work but SO worth it. I highly recommend bag lubing your springs to save time. I ordered everything I needed to lube from rndkbd which is based in Calgary :)
Welcome back guys! Hope your time off was enjoyable :) - In regards to what those comments were saying about the standing desk? how weird is that but i guess everyone is entitled to an opinion :) I look forward to the videos of the new setup when you move :) take care guys
each keyboard is different! different style, function, size, some can’t be swapped out. it’s just fun to collect cus they used to be so ugly and boring but now brands are making them aesthetic
Looks like you got rid of the portable monitor or is this not your gaming rig? Just upgraded to a 38" LG Ultrawide as my main (from my old 34" Asus Ultrawide) and I'm looking around for a Discord (when gaming) or Teams (when working) monitor. I'm curious to see what your partners rig looks like or do you share all your old stuff once you move on to a new setup?
i just brought it back! this setup doesn’t suit it too much but i miss it lol he just got a new setup from ergonofis, his ig is @nicesetupdude if you wanna see! he essentially copied mine lol but he’s had different monitor layouts before. i’d really like a larger screen too but you really just do need a second one, even if it’s smaller, in case you’re in full screen on one of them. makes a huge difference
@@astronuggie I'll def check him out, thanks. I'm leaning towards Desky but we will see. I definitely agree that having a second monitor for comms is good. I use Azure Virtual Desktop for WFH so I do run full screen and having a second portable monitor for Teams (or Discord if I'm gaming) will be great. I guess I'll give my son the 34" and the AVLT Monitor arm and chalk it up to "Whoops, didn't need to buy that". Lucky kiddo!
