Thanks, Lucy - inspiring stuff! I had a near-fatal heart attack in March, so my triathlon goals are pretty distant. However, my intentions to regain fitness and compete again are 100,%. Good luck with your Ironman training! 😎
Thanks for yet another great video! I'm gunning for my first ever half marathon in June. I spent my 20s and 30s hovering around 300lbs; ive since lost 120lbs and I'm making the absolute most of my 40s. Have a 5k open water swim race on the calendar too. I can't wait to watch you chase your goals!
Amazing video Lucy! I’m a runner and this year I’m doing my first races since the pandemic. My goal is really simple; to enjoy every moment and complete without time pressures. I have a lovely pair of Kayano’s to help with my training. Next year is London marathon though so getting back into the swing of things this year ready for a good build to next April. Happy new year and have an awesome 2024 💪👑🌍
Congrats! You’ve been selected to win one of the mermaid tail neon lights 🧜🏻♀️ Please drop an email to media@teamcharlesbarclay.com and we will arrange getting your prize shipped to you! 🎉
I got a wahoo kicker bike last year and I’m loving bike life ❤ will defo join your club coz I spend my life on the climb portal and I need new buddies 🤣🤣🤣
A nice video to start off the year--and I hope that Lucy's parents will join us for the Wahooligan Tour/Tour of Sufferlandria in February! Although I see the importance of goal-setting for someone like a pro athlete with a race program with set event dates, I have switched more to establishing habits rather than goals. I have a goal of losing some weight but the habit is just to eat better; Lucy's resolution to drink more water is, to my mind, also setting a habit. I want to raise my FTP this year but am more focused on the habit of sticking to my daily training plan and expect that the result will be an increase. Love to see some great results at those PTO races!
A very interesting trend with many. When it's Ironman Kona year it's an Ironman season. If it's not a Kona year for championships, it's a PTO season. If I were int that position I would do the same.
Hope you will be in Nice to defend your title - and in blessing your folks are looking forward to their new clothes maiden 😅 great gift I have the normal wahoo bike it’s ace
I’m currently coming back from a 2nd metatarsal stress fracture turned full fracture It would be great if you had the time to make a vid about your recovery from your injury Thanks 👍
Your parents will need to start a RU-vid channel 😂 it would be a lot of fun seeing updates on how they are liking zwift and if they are going to do a race this season.
