The brilliant game designers at ResetERA have come up with a lot of ways to 'improve' Persona. Some are pretty good, many of them are not, a couple are just downright baffling. The images; imgur.com/a/lhsqw Twitter yeah; @fitherfith
The “perfect” Persona 6: Start at max level No compendium every persona ever is always equipped No social stats or social links Paper thin story with a cast of all Mary Sues No dungeons just walk up to the final boss and tell it to stop doing bad things and then everyone wins with you getting all the trophies that would have existed had there actually been a game
I almost forgot, everyone has to be automatically romantically involved with the protagonist; and that none of characters can be japanese, for a more diverse cast

“Make Personas more interesting as characters.” Yeah, lemme just come up with fully detailed and fascinating personalities for _literal hundreds of side characters._
Andrew Kos I think it could be good put 1-2hours of skippable game in the time between your release and your return at home and maybe a little post-game in the summer where the characters meet like how ATLUS did in Golden.
Post-game content has been in several JRPGs before. Treating it like this new thing is very silly, and kind of tells me that you might need to play some stuff from the 80s and 90s.
Because we love the game and we want to be able to experience the charaters more and not have to do the main story again. The least they could do are like velvet room challenges with certain paramaters and rewards at the end like items and mabye new fusions.
Woodsy The costs so far of idiots (what I mean to say are teenagers who have no idea what they are really asking for, kinda like a kid asking for Master Chief from Halo to be in SMASH Bros.) wanting to turn it into a Bioware game but with even more complex dating sim mechanics (because that is their main draw to the series in general and the rest of it to them might seem either unessasary or less important) with shipping elements added in (because of characters being teased to like each other and FE Awakening possibly, and MattPatt trying to pretend to know anything about Persona to get views from his fans who either don't know about it or who do know about it and hoped for a good theory about the games.
RPG's were originally a niche genre. Niche = less money less money = lower budget and lower sales Not that that's a bad thing. Many great games don't sell well.
Yukiko's s link was actually her discovery that she was never opposed to running the inn, in her symbolism the cage was always open. it was imaginary. she wanted freedom and support from her family.
Yeah. I think Yukiko’s link was more about wanting her family to support whatever she chooses to do with her life instead of making her feel like she’s forced to be what they want her to be.
the symbolism behind the cage being opened was that she could always leave, she just never saw that and wanted to be given a reason not knowing that it was up to her to give herself that reason and make that leap
I always find the dungeons to be the most hype part of the game. Fusing Personas and buying new items and gear to prepare. I blast the volume on my TV for every boss battle. Negotiating with shadows and enjoying their ridiculous dialogue. Strategically preserving my SP so I can make it as far as possible. The idea of skipping all of that just baffles me. It's by far the most fun part of the game.
NG+ is making it harder but you have the S. Link progress, so what is the point of playing it if you aren't going into the palaces? How is the story going to develop? What the fuck!?
if anything, it should be THE REVERSE. being able to skip confidant interactions instantly because you've already done them and just want to speed through to the endgame would be great.
I think the LGBTQ one was directed at those overly stereotypical gay guys you run into in Shinjuku. Either that or how rude Yosuke was to Kanji throughout P4. However I doubt the people who made this list played anything other than P5.
Honestly, coming from someone both pan and trans, I see Yosuke's behaviour as high schooler + a lack of proofreading after cutting Yosuke being confirmed bi/gay. From experience, I myself have done the same before I really understood myself. I projected myself onto others so I could try not to accept who I was out of fear. Yosuke's actions and words parallel a lot of that, and due to his homosexuality being axed late in development, I don't think they'd also want to re-do that many voice lines or they just forgot it.
I REALLY don't get why people who call that Shinjuku Scene a problem can't just accept that not everybody who isn't a Straight Character is a good person It's not homophobic and a "problem" if two characters are bad and are gay, The same way as it isn't "Cisphobic" or "Heterophobic" if a straight character is a bad guy (Kamoshida as the biggest and most obvious fucking example in the same game people are ranting about doing the same situation of being a "sexually harassin' d bag" as Ryuji says) Even then it should be completely acceptable to have bad characters who discriminate in games because it gives a reason to dislike them, It also gives a reason for if they improve themselves to matter as they came from a place where you can see they went from something bad to something good (Such as Yosuke's entire development after being sexually harassed by the Shadow Kanji Boss bringing on that whole Phobia and then eventually stopping being so antsy in such a way by the end of the game and fully accepts others even if that entire thing is such a minor arc in the first place lol) It's such a stupid problem imo, People just focus on the identity of others instead of their character, The literal point of Persona being to focus on people's characters and make friends and grow, These idiots don't get that ._.
@@adachisans5664 with these spergs now harrassing atlus over this scene in Royal, some of thier comments prove they haven't played the fucking game. You knocked all of them down at once!" Noir: "Yeah. You're sooo good at focusing on multiple things at once." Joker "not this again."

@@rd6547 Yeah there's that but my idea was to take it one step further. For example, you set Ann to Heal/Support half the time she'll function as Act Freely actively screwing you over for doing a harem route.
It doesn't need to be like that but I agree that at least the people IN YOUR PARTY should know who you're dating. The fact that you can date Futaba, Ann, Makoto and Haru (and Kasumi in Royal) and NONE OF THEM notice you're dating the others is kind of nonsensical tbh

Flareb 99 The persona compendium and the option to bring in SL for mini games was pretty good too. I like to see my boy Ryuji swing an actual baseball bat outside the metaverse.
Flareb 99 I feel like Having 1 single adult in the team would also be good. Just one. Example Sae from 5 or Dojima from 4 in a way of Only 1. And i agree with the sahre function partially. Like i want to take a screenshot PLEASE LET ME
Dominik Wozniak A single adult in the team would automically have that adult be the leader. Adults with a job and responsibilities is going to be more qualified and be a better leader than just a random teen. It also does kind of fucks up the friendship dynamic that a group of teens have when they do dumb things when you have someone like sae. On the other hand making the adult to he a manchild is also ridiculous. Persona users at this point are all a bunch of lost teens who have yet to find their place in the world until the protagonist came.
Dominik Wozniak I can see someone just exiting teenhood and just attempting to get used to college life to work. They are still technically adults with their own responsibility but they aren't too deep in to be acting like one. Fist semester to fourth semester student but any higher than than that, and the student would have already gotten used to the grind.
I always prefer playing as a female character when given the option to, but looking at all the changes that were made to dialogues and stuff in P3 for FeMC, I think it would be even harder to add a female main character in P5, specially in the first palace, that part of the story would probably be very different if Joker was a girl
Repetitive dialogue is a legit complain in some spots. Why does Futuba, a character you HAVE to use as navigator, only have one line of dialouge for Joker, a character you have to use, whenever he knocks something down (read: multiple times in a row every fight for the entire game, NICE ONE JOKER!...NICE ONE JOKER!...). There's a reason "LOOKING COOL JOKER" is a meme, as morgana has the same problem.
Altough I got to say I liked the dialogues in PQ. There Characters comment on there enemys, Bosses and the state of there teammates. Fore example if you have both Aigis and Koromaru in the party and Koromaru gets defeated Aigis says "I will fight fore Koromaru san". If You have Ken in the party in that scenario he says "You wont get away with that animal abuse" Ore if you encounter certain Shadows Ken says "I am not afraid of Lions" ore "A Samurai huh. Sure looks intense" Now I almost always had the same Party but even so I really like how specific the partymembers comments where. But yeah in P5 the Navigator gets slightly annoying. I got used to it so its really a minimal Issue fore me but just giving the option to turn of the navigator comments would solve that problem.
Welp some times repetitive dialogue is good, take "it's a fine day with you around" or " *STOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LAW!* " for example, it's make some memorable moments on the game
53:23" change the format of MC's death = Game Over" I think this is another point of evidence that they just don't understand game design and game balancing. The MC's in the Persona series, (namely 3,4, and 5, can't verify for 1 or either of P2 games as I've never played them) are OP compared to the other party members. Unlike the rest of the cast, the MC can swap personas and with this comes the ability to change their elemental weaknesses and resists. For example, in P5, if Joker gets hit with an ice attack while Arsene is equipped, Joker takes extra damage, but if Joker is hit with an ice attack while Jack Frost is equipped, he nulls it. Especially when the reward for hitting weaknesses and the punishment for being hit with your weakness is an extra turn. Needless to say, the ability to change what you are weak to is a huge game changer in a game about exploiting weaknesses. TL;DR due to the MC's ability to change their weaknesses and resists, I think an instant game over when they fall is a fair tradeoff. The way I love to describe the power the MC's have is like this: "the MC has the importance of the King piece in Chess, but has the power of the Queen piece." Also, I hate that I agree with the comments saying "they want a 100 hour dating sim with an optional JRPG on the side."
This makes sense except on account of Persona 5's enemies having occasional instakill techniques. No one wants to get a random Game Over just because Mudo randomly decided they should. Yakuza: Like a Dragon got around this by giving its protagonist a reraise skill, but I don't know enough about game balance to know if that was overkill or not. Either way, this does need some element of rebalancing.
@@cephalopodman2467 I don't really see the instakills as an issue because there are plenty of way to reduce chances of dying to them. You can use an item called a Homonculus that negates one light or dark instakill. However, Homonculus isn't exactly a common item so maybe you want slightly more reliable results. How about the more common Magic Mirror? It reflects any magic attack, including instakills. But wait, there's more. There's a spell version of Magic Mirror called Makarakarn. It does the same thing, it just costs MP/SP instead of an item. In Persona 5, Haru learns both Makarakarn and the physical attack equivalent: Tetrakarn which earns her a permanent spot on my team imo. However this all pales in comparison to the biggest way to avoid instakills: your elemental resistance plays a role in the instakill percent chance. By default with no resistance and no weakness, normal instakills have about a 25% chance of hitting. If you or the enemy is weak to it, it doubles to 50%. If the target resists the element, it halves to about 12.5%. If you null, absorb or reflect it, it is a flat out 0%. Once again, it doesn't actually consume the turn to swap Personas mid battle. All of this applies to Persona 3, 4 and 5. However, for some advice exclusive to P5, when leveling your social links, can get you skills where the party members will tank hits for Joker. While this won't help with party-wide insta-kills, if it will help for single target instakills. So yeah, fuse some Personas that null insta-kills.
There's a better way to balance it out tho it's super fucking annoying still, maybe for example giving a 3 turn limit to revive the Mc so it gives the group time to revive them and it also can be interrupted so it can be balanced out.
Basically: *P5 MC kicks legs up on desk* "Morgana, I order you to go to the movies with Ryuji... And continue hanging out with him until he falls in love with you, at which point you are to turn him down, and fall in love with Yoshida. Then, Yoshida, Ann, and I will go to the movies and have a 3-way polygamous relationship." Good thing literally everyone is bisexual and nobody actually has any tastes of their own! Everyone is a puppet that we get to choose the romantic tastes of! /s
Putting aside the 'Naoto-Sexual' joke regarding Kanji, it kinda flies in the face of his character for him not to be straight in canon, as one of his big issues that caused his dungeon and shadows to be what they were in game was his complex about being a guy doing and liking traditionally girly things like knitting, mixed with his confused feelings about Naoto, who had been trying to hide her gender at the time, to form everything. Being gay flat out takes a dump on it. And oh dear god, do not get me started on the 'naoto is trans' thing, since both 4 and 5 make no secret of the issues of being female in a male dominated workspace. The whole thing on being made a man wasn't meant to symbolize Naoto wanting to be a dude, it was to symbolize her desire for some easy 'out' that would make her be accepted by her colleagues. Sorry if this is all annoying, these debates kinda get to me.
Naoto believed it was her only option in order to be accepted. She was wrong of course, but her concerns are warranted especially in the traditionally patriarchal Japan. Even in the west, there is proof of female employees being treated differently as well as statistics showing they are paid less on average. On a somewhat related note, people don't want politics in games, but all games incorporate political commentary; the concepts of *good* and *evil* are themselves politically motivated, since *good* is defined by the laws and morals of society. It is only when the politics are "preachy" (which I can understand) or when they disagree with the stance (in which case, get over it) that they find issue. Yet most of the time it is still framed as general politics being in a game at all.
I feel this exact same way about Chihiro from Danganronpa. A lot of people say he's trans, but he's not. He dresses like and pretends to be a girl because people kept making fun of him for being feminine looking. He does not actually have any transgender feelings.
I'd take Kanji to be straight, maybe even lowkey bisexual, but definitely not gay. It goes against his character arc of toxic masculinity rearing it's ugly head in Kanji's interests. In fact, just stating he's solely gay tends to annoy the hell out of him, because he doesn't recognise himself that way. If someone isn't gay and says as such, it's even more offensive to say they simply MUST be gay. Same way with stating gay folks must be straight. And Naoto is blatantly not a trans character. I don't even need to explain myself, it takes nothing to find out that this is the case.
11:04 I don't know why people complain about that. Finishing a palace and having free time to just chill and do whatever you want is one of the most satisfying parts of the game.
the longer the list went on, the more I've solidified my idea that this was written by a lot of people who love visual novels and think the gameplay elements are getting in the way of their harem or whatever. it's so headache-inducing.
Same. I mean, there are a few ideas that sound to me cool about the combat (probably because the people who wrote those ideas actually care about the combat enough to give suggestions). But if people want a dating simulator, they should buy a dating simulator. "More believable and mature villains with relatable motivations" Persona 5's villains barring Akechi are supposed to be charicatures, not real people. It fits with the themes of society is corrupt and you're supposed to rebel against them. It's clear that they're not supposed to be realistic and that improves the overall theme of the game. I HATE when people miss the entire point of the villains in P5
mmm i see where they're coming from tho. i'd rather have cool villains with thought provoking motives rather than the usual "y u do dis" "cuz i am THE BADDIE" "OH SHIT HE'S THE BADDIE" "YES! I AM THE BADDIE!"

Golden City I bet they have not done so speficially because they heard it was really really hard, and doubt they would enjoy it if it is too hard for them.
They want Persona to have an adult bearded male as a protagonist and have either his actual child or a "metaphorical" son or daughter so that they can write articles saying that their videogames aren't childish toys and reflect their real struggles as adults. Late to the game comment: - College is pretty chill in Japan. Entrance Exams suck balls but once you're in, you are in. It is generally thought of as the time students get to experiment, socialize and take it easy before entering the work force. - I always thought of the protagonist as their own character and not just a stand in for the player, like you plenty of choices to determine how your MC acts but they also have plenty of things that are set in stone about their personality (P3MC is spacey, P4 is straightforward, P5 is a bit playful and a showoff) - Pervert Party members? Ryuji? This is a high school boy and he isn't even pervy, Like the biggest things were him saying "Dammm" seeing some of the girls in their outfits for the first time and him chickening out renting a maid. nickkuroshi0 I don’t understand the pervert party member considering *Every dude in the game does that* see the Futaba palace cutscenes or Morganas weird lines in momentos
@@tsarthesecond1018 Saying that every dude in the game does it is more re-framing the scope of the problem but I get ya. If they are refering to the big bads, then: 1. They are gods who treat humanity like toys. 2. They believe that their actions are the right actions and don't take no for an answer. On the music subject: Last Surprise for the enemy sneaking up on you & neutral confrontation, & Take Over when you sneak up on an enemy. That would be neat
For the toggle on Confidant perks, I believe they are talking about Ryuji's rank 7 insta-kill ability for which I agree. Ryuji knowing how to kill shadows in one stroke makes no sense given his intelligence and asking the player if they want to be over leveled but still want to engage in battles they have to skip out on Confidants is a nonsensical excuse. A good compromise would be to make the ability instead be an effect on a weapon or accessory that drops from the Reaper boss(having the insta-kill ability drop from an incarnation of death makes more sense).
@@user-garnet You could kinda do this in vanilla P5, but you had to be at least 5-10+ levels above the rest of the enemies in the dungeon and have a full persona repertoire with you (not the compendium, I mean). However, I don't know if this is only applicable to Normal mode and harder because I only did this with Easy. You've got SMT4 or Apocalypse, where you could get the "fuck off" ability where any enemy 5 levels below you runs away. And I think that can be expanded to 10 or 20 levels. It's worth noting that the trick in P5 doesn't work for SMT4+A doesn't work since the enemies without the "fuck off" ability will still try to jump you, and the mechanics are different.
UmbryTheTiddlywink Tey work really well when they help highlight a theme of the game. Like Persona 4's theme of making friends. This would not work very well in Persona 3 when it's themes are mostly about depression.

What's weird is some of these actually came true with Royal. Better Akechi. More Personas. Take Over as Ambush them, Last Surprise as attack theme. Not forced to sleep after metaverse. Extra content after Yaldabaoth. More substantial inner party members- showtime attacks and baton pass upgrades? It makes a ton of sense for SMT to have the MC dying=game over, but not Persona. Same with Morgana, who literally has all the healing/revive abilities and taught Joker how to fight with his Persona in the first place???

Karaoke minigame for persona 6? That lowkey would be hype though, get the VAs to sing songs from persona history no matter how bad at singing they may be at it. When you and a bunch of friends go to karaoke together, you're going to have fun you don't really care if you good or bad at it. Not like Yakuza, at least 0, where you are in a bar singing, you'd go to one of those karaoke places you see in anime where you get your own room to your group. I would absolutely LOVE that, your group is just singing, drinking sodas and teas/coffees, laughing and just enjoying each others company
One thing I've noticed is they fail to recognize one major difference between Japanese and western rpgs. They want to put themselves in the game not realizing they're playing Makoto, Yu, or Akaris story, not their own
the issue with persona 5’s localization is that it constantly switches back and forth with the honorifics. p5 will say mr.kamoshida one minute and lala-chan the next
The adult cast part is just a side detail that would not effect the game in a good or bad way. Age does not make a good or bad character but personality does.
To be frank I would enjoy some adult partymembers. You dont even have to change the high school setting. Having 1 ore 2 adults in the party could work. Now since Adults have less time than highs schoolers it could lead to some problems but I am sure there are ways to get around those.
21:30 clearly they want SMT style fiends, that would make everyone happy. What I think is funny is P5 already brought in some unique ways to get new personas, like the treasure demons. We even sorta got my joke suggestion since some requests in P5 give you new personas to fuse.
I discovered this channel through the response to Game Theory's video and I am so glad I did. Easily the best Megami Tensei focused channel I have found yet.
I think i see the point of "Making personas more interesting as demons/characters". It's like demons in the overworld or in dungeons in smt 3, they have some sort of characteristic or personality to the demons just lazing about the place, and sometimes they give you some goals or objectives, maybe even try to sell you stuff like the souls in the labyrinth of amala. Of course, it probably wouldn't work in persona 5, because all the demons are under control of the ruler of the palace, but I can see this happening in other persona games with just a slight re-work or implementation into the plot. but then again, it is shown that demons in persona 5 do have a sense of free will, as shown when you talk to a demon you already have in your possession. My guess is they want NPC demons to talk to, which i could see working depending on the situation.
Sean Flannery Their point about it makes no sense. Personas are based off of mythological and/or religious writings, stories, and scriptures. They already have descriptions of their backstories, albeit scratching the surface. And demons are above a higher plane as humans, not meant to coexist alongside humans, as they are either controlling them or being controlled by humans, so few of them actually function as characters. Thing is, they don’t need to be characters, they’re just catalysts for fusing. And since they already have backstories, they don’t need to be touched upon too much.
To be honest, my opinion differs on a well-written female lead character. Having played games like Trails in the Sky and Tales of Berseria (or even the Celica part of Fire Emblem Echoes) it's obvious that a story can be well-written without resulting in tropes like sexism and stuff and can have a lot to say as well. Heck, with Maya in Persona 2:EP we already have an example for that. In P5 the theme would have to have changed, obviously, but I actually see a lot of potential in, for example, exploring the part of the harassment from Kamoshida not only from an outlooker's perspective (through Ann) but also from the perspective of a person directly afflicted by it. And all the things that have been brought up in the comments with regards to Naoto (how badly women are treated in (Japanese) society) could also be built into the story. But I fear that in a game with some dating sim-esque elements like Persona has become the male outcry of fans "having to date guys" would end up tanking sales and in the end, Atlus has to pay their bills as well. And yeah, having double routes would make the game crazy expensive since one would have to write basically two storylines entirely (like in P3P where the still images made it more feasible since less costly in terms of graphics design etc.)
Small thing, but Fire Emblem Gaiden/Echoes' female co-protagonist is named CELICA, not Cecilia. You might do a little better in proposing these game storylines if you learned a little about that media landscape you're tarring with that brush of yours. Shonen female leads aren't like five or six interchangeable lines of prefabs. I should know, being a fan of the hit anime series Touhou.

I honestly don't buy this excuse anymore. At least during the current times. We need to stop acting like Atlus is some "indie company." It's a large company that's being backed up by Sega. All while consistently scamming its fans with re-released versions of the same game.
The fact that severe stuff of this list were added in the p5R really talks good about atlus... It's like "okay, lets see what we can actually do to improve our game but without breaking it or distancing it from the original cpncept"
Gotta love when people who obviously don’t give a shit about something want to change it completely so it appeals to their tastes instead of just, you know, finding something else that does satisfy their needs.
(sorry for bad english) you cant make it a adult cast if the main parts of persona 5 is getting justice against the rotten adults who took from you And yes college in japan is actually is torturous im not in college but my older brother is and he says its all grinding like you did say
Social Links, realistically, would go so slowly that they would have to throwout the mechanic because you never have time for yourself. College is lonely as hell.
*Almost 200+ personas to this day* This people: that is not enought i want more Also fusing is fun as hell, i find myself at least 200 hours of my 500 hours playing the game just making weak personas more strong hell i almost fuse an Angel whit megidolaon And about the social stats i can undestand it if is "lower the requirements" like saying "level 3 social link you need Max charm and corage" but besides that i think it's okay as it is
I love it when they say "add more challenge to x thing" and then immediately ask for things like "let me skip dungeons" or "i hate fusion so make it easier" or "let me not lose when i die, instead just send me back to the start of the floor", like how does that last one even make sense with the one that said "Incorporate rouge-like elements" like what? stuff like permadeath?, it's like every time some casual wants to sound ballsy they use the term "rougue-like" without even knowing where the term even came from lmao.
6:38 I think what they meant to say is "let us select the bgm from the songs we have after getting the costumes", because sometimes I don't wanna look like P4 Arena Yu as Joker and have that song play that's related to that costume.
So i agree with most of your points. but you guys were full of it. Cause the "believable" and "mature" villains thing was tackled in p5 royal. And guess what, maruki is really interesting and i sympathised with him on some level making him a human turned semi villain to his distorted desires that are still kind of benefetial to others (in his opinion)
My biggest gripe with casual Persona fans (aka I played a few hours of 5) are the people that constantly just go "why isn't this tackling the issue of gay rights" or "why isn't/can't *blank* be gay?". They can't understand that it's not the issue that the game is trying to tackle. It personally bugs me that they act so entitled about it.
I guess Atlus did semi-listen (even though they prob didn’t care about this list) regarding post game extra content because of Royal, but this video was made before Royal’s announcements so that’s fine that it’s not brought up in the video because there’s no way it could’ve been.
In regards to the no more MC death = game over, I agree and kinda like the idea of getting one more action as each party member to either revive the MC or finish the battle. The latter would revive you with 1 hp, just like party members. If you fail to do either one though, the party members realize they can't continue without you and give up, resulting in the game over.
There's one big thing I noticed with P5 is that most of the times I wake up with dialogue options that are pretty much the same, for example:Op1: "Let's go!", Op2:"We should get going". I never understood why I have 2 options for saying the exact same thing and getting the same outcome...like in Persona 4 you get different option in cutscenes that can show kindness or understanding and increase your social stats when you choose them. But P5 never did anything with these options and I feel lost, confused and annoyed.
If they defeated yaldyboi then mementos has no reason to exist because mementos is the place where people wants to be controlled by someone and if yaldyboi is defeated then they would have no one to control them Now that i wrote on this im unsure if im actually correct lol
Just happened to stumble on this video, but would like to point something out with regards to outfits in the game. While its nice having additional ones you could get through DLC, it shouldn't be the only method. one of the things I thought was neat with P4G was the fact that you could earn different outfits just by playing the game. some of them you bought with Yen and others were through story or sidequests/social links. the one thing I did miss that wasn't in P5 was the Party commentary on the outfits you make them wear. it was a nice side thing that was funny and added a bit more characterization to the party members.
The toggle option for S-Link abilities, IMO, would be more aplied to the Ryuji one where you simply insta-defeat the shadow without fighting. When you are too high leveled shadows will run from you, and sometimes (in mementos basically) I just want to fight a weak shadow so I can regenerate some SP. This skill makes it impossible
Most of these are pretty petty but I think the LGBTQ+ has some ground. I do agree that people miss the point of naoto and kanji. But 'better treatment' doesn't have to mean more, it could mean things like - yosuke apologizing to kanji for his homophobic behavior during the camping trip, or being a romance option like he was originally planned to - not having the ONLY gay characters in p5 men who assault a teenager. theres a difference between ignoring something because it's not important to your story, and acknowledging something just to make fun of it. Atlus could easily have done the former in p5.
I think what they mean by diversity is "Make more Arsene's." More believable and repeatable villains/Optional party members in NG+ "WE WANT TO SEX THE GORO, GIVE US THE GORO!"
Tbh I feel the opposite way. I want the Persona JRPG gameplay without having to deal with the real world. And from what I've seen SMT gameplay is pretty different and a lot harder, so that isn't it.
@@Topunito SMT combatis just more fun than Persona combat more often than not. Snappier, tougher, less grindy (in terms of how long it takes to kill enemies.)
"every level of the S-link should unlock something meaningful" i dont see the problem, whats wrong with just getting to experience the characters story for 4/10 levels?
