OMG JENNY I SCREAMED! when i saw Calling in the one! I did the whole work book a few years ago and it was transformative. It really started my journey of mindful dating and I am now married with the love of my life (and i proposed the day I turned 30 last spring). I met on IG at the start of the pandemic. He was in LA and I am in Montreal and borders were closed, so all odds were against us. Without this book I don't think I would have been able to fully embrace this encounter and journey with him. Every single time someone opens up to me about wanting to start dating or find love I mention this book and i'm like okay dont laugh at the title this book is brilliant. I really hope this book brings you clarity, compassion and joy! Your videos have been such a support in my life through heartbreak and depression. you deserve all the love you want and more! Yes!! Used to work at coffee shop that hosted an la community fridge, and donations make a big difference to the unhoused community!! I’m so happy that you took previous comments/suggestions in a productive way!!! We love to see it💛
PS: you're totally right about how simple contributions to food banks are still contributions. Inspired to buy a few extra cans for donation in future grocery store trips!

Lolol I was ready to hear more about Refuse To Choose tbh. 8:31 was the face of like, "omg... I feel very seen" I actually prefer self-help books and most of what you're reading. It can be tough for me to get into a fiction book, orrrr it's gotta be in the realm of my special interests. I won't be able to pay attention to anything else. I admire you for sharing what you read! I love Barbara Sher, I found her through ted talks and her philosophy completely resonated with me, and then I found out about the "scanner" thingy and I was shocked like you. I had been thinking all my life that I was not good enough because I could never be passionate enough for choosing just one thing...but now I realise it's kind of cool. When I lived near Skylight, I was walking up Hillhurst and Danny Devito was just standing outside the Chinese restaurant. Just by himself. Like I couldn’t not say hi to him.

I keep in a compost bag in my freezer ! I just had transferred into the big because I was about to take them out! If you have room in your freezer it’s perfect

for me resetting is cleaning my very small house, making my space more peaceful, staying up 36 hours and having a cigarette. For some reason my brain always decides to do this at 2 am every 3 weeks or so.
