I loved this book. I respect SNL but I was never really a big fan. However, I liked knowing how the production of a show comes together so I really enjoyed the book. It kind of reminds me of “Writers and Lovers” by Lily King in the sense that I felt like a fly on the wall of the main characters life. I think this book should be more considered more contemporary fiction that romance but I still loved it.

When you say you moved about an hour away, do you mean Sacramento? Blink twice for yes. Also if you love the SNL memoir vibes I HIGHLY recommend Colin Jost's memoir. He studied russian lit at harvard, his mom is a 9/11 hero, he discusses the difference in how Pete Davidson is treated compared to him despite the fact that they grew up in the same place. I laughed, I cried, I loved it.

I moved last summer, and I still haven't unpacked all my stuff (some of which was still packed from the previous move two year before that, OOPS)

My husband has a lot of work opportunities in California & we know moving there is something we will need to consider in the next few years but one big thing holding us back is not being able to afford a big yard for our dogs like we can have in texas 😂😢
