Resetting the Pin Code on a Victron Smart Shunt

I was given a couple of Victron Smart Shunts by Leisure Travel Van Owners, but I forgot to ask for the 6 digit pin codes that are required to access the Victron devices from the Victron Connect App. Consequently I must perform a reset so I can get the Smart Shunt back to the original 000000 factory pin code so I can establish a new pin code and access the Victron Shunt from the Victron Connect App on my phone. This process will work for resetting the Pin Code on any Victron device that can be used with the Victron Connect App. I highly recommend that you write your established unique pin code on each Victron device you have so if you forget it or sell your Leisure Travel Vans then it will be easy to access the device from any Victron Connect App on any smart phone or tablet.
