Thank you for posting this. We took our 16-month old GLE 350 into the dealer to ask if they’d just reset the message without servicing the vehicle, because it only has 4,400 miles on it. They said they couldn’t without doing the service, which consisted of an oil change, topping off fluids and doing a “safety check”, whatever that is. The cost for this service? $628. For an oil change! That’s just insane.
Simple oil change is only $120 that includes the filter, oil, and drain plug seal. It only took 30 minutes to do in my garage and the most time consuming part was removing the shield underneath.
Just got done doing one. Thanks for the info but at the end there it’s telling you that if you confirm the service it cannot be undone if you made a mistake so therefore you can reset it as many times as you want just to let you know.
Thank you for video but this procedure does not work on my 2021 c300 basic. I looked at several videos on how to reset the Service B notice and nothing works. I think Mercedes releases so many software versions and updates that it's impossible to stay up with. Could you do a video for a 2021 c300? Thanks!
@@davesinger1444 maybe watch the video from the beginning a couple times before attempting to do the reset. Maybe you're missing something from the first few steps. Let me know
