This film basically tells the story of conflict between toxic masculinity ( byproduct of patriarchy) and divine feminity ( compassion, tolerance, forgiveness)... It shows how patriarchy in its ugly, brutal form dehumanizes men , make them vengeful , brutal, evil beings and how feminity ( represented by the character of reshma ) tries to humanize them, teaches them the true meaning of dharma..

One of the rare classics. Superb acting by all the characters.
