Hey fam, glad to here you're digging the series. I didn't know this at first but apparently the free ps5 upgrade versions of the games starts you put with all of the bonus weapons perks in the game. My method for making the videos is to demonstrate the most proficient method of getting all of the trophies, so I just rolled with it.

Glad I could help you out then. I think the hardest part of this trophy list is deciding which trophies are easy to get in a single run. If you go for the plat on the free ps5 upgrade of this game, you instantly start the game with the infinite rocket launcher.

Yeah that 1st playthrough is the toughest part of the run on the ps4. Once you get it down it's 🎂

I had already beaten the game like 4 times when it first came out. Never used the infinite ammo until I went for the platinum on the ps5 copy.

Yeah it is kind of loud right out the gate now that you mention it. I've been trying to find a happy medium because some people were saying stuff was too quiet sometimes.

Good point. It was like at least 50% easier with the infinite ammo at the gitgo

The ps5 upgrade version of the game starts you with infinite ammo in the machine gun and the rocket launcher. I didn't know that until I started the game, but apparently those ps5 upgrades for RE2 & RE3 starts you with the perks from owning the deluxe edition of the game.

Glad to hear you liked the series. My goal is to complete the platinum in the most efficient manner possible. That's why I always make it a point to describe my strategies in the video. So that anyone can take my method and use it themselves.

@platinumgamerscore that's fair. Just from a viewing standpoint it's not quite as fun to watch as say, your RE remake video was. Regardless, I have the plats on almost all the RE games, I love the series as a whole, and your videos are fun to watch for the most part. I'm playing them in the background as I hunt more trophies lol. Up to 64 platinums currently. I'll be sure to watch your REmake 3 video after. That game can suck a dick, I didn't use the infinite weapons at launch for infernal mode like a dummy, and that mode tested me in every way possible.

@platinumgamerscore I'm not caught up on your series yet, but Revelations 1 should be really interesting. Raid mode was a ton of fucking fun, but it was a serious grind for all the trinity bonuses. Watching your RE4 video now actually, it popped up as recommended lol. Anyways, keep up the good work

Glad your digging the videos. I'm wrapping a fan suggested game (TLOU2 Remaster) this week and then I should be starting RE REV 1 next week. We shall see how it goes lol.

I mean I can see your point. RE2 & RE3 are the only ones that start you with infinite ammo if you play the PS5 version. On the other hand, I definitely demonstrated the most efficient method to get the trophies lol

RE4R is really fun and not too difficult a platinum. I just got it last week. Same goes for RE7, just takes a lot of prep for the knife only run.

It's not really a pay to win platinum if the infinite rocket launcher comes free with the game from the start. Would the video have gotten me some extra views if I did it the harder way, I mean maybe, but either way that's not my goal with my videos. The goal of my videos isn't to puff out my chest and say I'm amazing at trophy hunting. My goal is to be entertaining while also demonstrating the most efficient/easiest methods to getting the platinum trophy. All things considered I'd say that was accomplished for this video lol.

I mean that's if you go for 100%. DLC trophies don't count towards the plat but I can see your point lol

@@platinumgamerscore yes one of the DLC is being trapped in a gas station. Another one is the mayor’s daughter escaping from the chief of police. Another is a girl that tries to escape the orphanage. And Kendo losing his wife and fighting off a hoarde to save his infected daughter before ultimately killing his daughter
