You can tell Claire's Quickdraw Army is not a Colt SAA, by the adjustable frontsights. Also, I'd love to see Claire running around with an actual Colt SAA loaded with 6 rounds ready to go. Anyone who knows this error will understand that she'd likely shoot her foot off! That's definitely a newer designed Ruger Blackhawk.
the real names of the guns: handguns: Matilda: german Heckler und Koch VP70 M19: the same hybrid pistol from RE7, it looks like a canadian LD45 with part of a Smith & Wesson pistol , bit it' supposed to a 1911 JMB: named after its creator John Moses Browing, the american-belgian High-power classic pistol Broom: an old german pocket Mauser HSC ,aka the "triangle pistol" SLS60: based about a pocket revolver (J-frame ) from the american Smith & Wesson Quickdraw: a Ruger Redhawk, modernized 45. clone of the Colt SAA or Peacemaker Samurai edge pistols: Beretta 92FS variants with Brigadiers slides and Beautiful colours MUP: HK USP9 , same german firm who made the VP70 Lightning Hawk: Desert eagle. The model is different from the original PS1 game , with more fantaisist details, i wonder why Capcom has modified it bigger weapons: W-870: american Remington M870. it's the only shotgun in the game unlike the original where it can be upgraded into a 1100 semi-auto variant MQ11: american-made Ingram Mac-11 LE5: HK MP5A3 with 380. loading , because the ammo boxes is the same for the two SMGs minigun: portable Genral electrics M134 , similar to the ones seen in movies like Terminator 2 or Predator or games like Crysis or Team fortress Sparkshot: futuristic electric rifle made by Umbrella, to neutralize their creatures and calm them down i guess Flametrower: Umbrella-made flamethrower , for desperate situations GM79: Model 79 grenades launcher aka the "Thumper" Anti-tank: american M220 Flash ATM4: swedish Bofors AT4 recoiless launcher
Any particular reason Leon holds his M19 like he's making a gangsta killshot? It doesn't bother me or anything I just find it kind of odd and interesting that he'd do that! lol Also, the upgraded Spark Shot looks like something out of a Ratchet and Clank game!
How come ingame, the matilda doesnt have the slide back when you are out of ammo like the samurai edge? Does it not do that in real life? Pretty sure the ones leon has in re4 and re6 do it. Is this an oversight?
Ethan Jessen that just takes away from the realism like even the samurai edge sounds the same idk if you played resident evil 5 the samurai edge in that game had like a strong boom sound to it and even resident evil 7 for not a hero samurai edge had like strong kick sound
It's quite realistic because usually same calibre and bullets make the same sound. Although I do agree that diferent sounds with more kick for the more powerful weapons would have been much more enjoyable!
@@NarutoninjaXV I mean the matilda and the quickdraw army did sound different to me but I might be wrong. But you are right all pistols do sound similar except for the hand cannon.
Any way to disable the 45. handgun in play through B? Things kind of useless and holds way less ammo than Leon's Matilda. Plus it can't he upgraded to my knowledge, deals the same amount of damage and you only get 2-3 bullets per find compared to 8-9 for the regular handgun. Plus it takes away all handgun ammo pickups and replaces it with 45.
it kinda bothers me that almost every handgun has the exact same sound also some reload animations look incredible stiff especially when your not aiming
Well, handguns will make the same sound firing if they're the same cartridge. In this, the 9mm sounds different that the .45 ACP, like it would in real life. Almost all 9mm pistols sound the same, and almost all .45 ACP pistols sound the same.
@@winterdaboi4284 This isn't rl it's a video game from a company that has the budget for better sound variety. They cut out a ton of things from the original game or altered them but can't be bothered to have more then one sound for the pistols, and a real sad peashooter sound to boot. Which is fitting for the handguns in this game I suppose.
@@valen9835 it amazes me how you people search for any reason to complain about the game. I bet if the sounds were more "variety" from each other you would complain in the same way. "Oh a 2019 game with no realistic guns sound,fu Capcom,RE is dead."
Bravo for pointing that obvious error out! With all that running around and tumbling she's doing, that firing pin would smash right through the primer and a SAA would blow a nice chunk out of her foot! But alas, that gun is actually modeled after a newer Ruger Blackhawk. Check the adjustable sights and the grip. Also the trigger guard from the Super Blackhawk is a dead giveaway.
I don't like how it too slow rof(rate of fire) in pistol. I feel most pistol's rof is too same. And M19(aka. M1911) & Quickdraw Army(aka. Colt SAA) Sound is too much lack of power.
Re2 guns possible real life counterparts: Matilda: this is Leon’s signature VP70 from the classic games, albeit it now contains 12 rounds instead of 18 (despite being wrong), and is more based off of the later models of the VP70, which doesn’t have the tactical rubber grips with it, can still attach the stock to it, which is real believe it or not (the burst is much higher RPM in real life than in game, I believe being around 2000 RPM) M19: This is most obviously John Browning’s famous M1911 that we all know and love, most likely based off of a later model such as the A1 variants, the side grip holding is a subtle nod to Leon’s classic costumes from RE2, which had him fire any pistol to the side like a stereotypical gangster JMB Hp3: This is based off of another one of John Browning’s famous pistols, the Browning HP (High Power), which Claire originally used as her starting handgun is RE2 Broom Hc: this tiny pistol mainly seems to be based off of the German Walther PPK handgun MUP: this pistol is most obviously based off of a full-size USP, particularly the 9mm variants, seems to also be 2-toned SLS 60: this odd pistol is some sort of S&W J-frame that also has a snub-nose, uses 9mm despite revolvers typically using 38 and not 9mm, can also magically swap from 9mm to 357 when upgrades which doesn’t exactly make sense, but whatever QuickDraw Army: this revolver is based off of a secret weapons from classic RE2, now being given to the player free on a B-scenario, it’s based off of the old school Colt SAA, using a form of 45. Caliber Samurai edge (and all the models): heavily modified M9 beretta, typically handed out to STARS members of the RPD, there’s a pretty good series on it made by KendoGunShop, I recommend you check it out as he’ll have a better explanation that me Lightning Hawk: this is probably one of the most obvious ones in this list, but it’s based off of a slightly modified version of the Israeli Desert Eagle, most famous for being a large and impractical pistol, but being cool and expensive, most known for being in video games and movies as the “Super pistol” that’ll really pack a punch on targets, typically killing in 1-2 shots, sometimes it’s even gold plated W-870: this shotgun is actually not an 870 like the name says, but a Remington 1100 with a cut down modification, can later be upgraded back to full size MQ11: despite what many might believe, this is not an Uzi, but the Ingram Mac-11, an updated form of the Ingram Mac-10 Le5: this is simply an MP5, more specifically a folding stock variant, also comes with an odd looking reflex sight of sorts Minigun: most likely an M134 minigun, most notable for being in a plethora of action movies and even games, like DOOM (although Doom’s is technically a chaingun but close enough) Spark shot: I really don’t know about this one, the best you’ll get out of me is that it’s a giant pump action taser Chemical flamethrower: I literally have no idea, the best I can compare it to is the Boring Company flamethrower with a mix of the one from the “Alien” films GM79: An M79, break action single barreled grenade launcher, ‘nuff said Anti-tank rocket: The M202 flash, a large quad barreled launcher that was used some time near the Cold War/Vietnam war, I believe it had incendiary ammo as well ATM-4: A Swedish AT-4 HS launcher EMF visualizer: “It’S sEcReT wEaPoN tImE” Combat knife: dude… it’s literally just a military model knife Infinite knife: same goes here, except this one looks like a fancy butter knife Flash grenade: I forgot which specific model this was, I think it was an M37 flash grenade (correct me if I’m wrong) Hand grenade: it’s a fragmentation grenade, I believe it’s based off of a Frag M26a2 or something like that
RU-vid has that issue sometimes where the video keeps playing but the sound stops. It doesn’t catch up at times and your audio is behind the video once it resumes. To fix it, just reload the video. It sucks and it’s been an issue for a lot of people for a long time, but hopefully I was of some help.
Joel Virki someone did a video comparing them, just go look at it, also the original edge is obtained through an S or higher rank on standard, the original edge has a 15 round magazine and infinite ammo
5:02,5:07 mmm. Is that s&w bodyguard 38spl or s&w model 329 44magnum?? And it's less powerful than Leon's desert eagle. Right?? 8:09 what a satisfied sound!! 8:15 , 9:02 not bad. But I would more hype if it was cod desert eagle sound. 5:36 damn! She could reloading that hard-to-reload gun by not even use the eye!
2:22 JMB holds 12 rounds(double stack mag) plus chamber = 13 extended mag should double the mag which would be 12+12 plus chamber = 25 lazy ass intern doubled mag and chamber together.
Elias Nicolas Miranda plus a dual mag serves as a Quadstock magazine on an M4, Eighteen round capacity M3 Shotgun and Wrist breaker recoil Desert Eagle
I don't think my comment holds true, to have the 13th round to count as the one in the chamber, the character would have to put the magazine pull the slide take off the magazine put another one in the mag, which makes the gun 13+1, guess I was just that dumb.
But we can still complain about protagonists not getting infected by the bites and scratches, being able to survive big falls, and close range grenade and rocket launcher explosions.
No- that defeats the whole point of the game being survival horror if you just go blowing every zombie's head off with a Desert Eagle that never runs out of bullets.
It's all cool but there is one flaw- TOO MANY HANDGUNS. I know it's a survival horror true of it's name, but please? Can't we get some more interestig weapons instead of handguns?
Fucking sucks that the arsenal of RE3 Remake is worse than RE2 Remake and even the original RE3 (no Sig Sauer SP2009, no Winchester M29, no S&W M629. RE3 Remake has a fetish for Glocks) and the whole game is short, dissapointing and feels rushed considering that RE3 Remake made by M2 or other secondary devs of Capcom instead of in house made by Capcom first devs (same with RE7) makes sense
have you play the original RE2 and unlocked the special costumes? it's a reference to the special costume of Leon in RE2 you aim like a gangsta in the original if you use that costume
@@sharyngratton4752 The SAA uses .45 Long Colt which isnt the same as .45 ACP. The difference is the LC cartridge is (surprise surprise) longer then the ACP and the .45 LC uses "weaker" black powder while .45 ACP uses more powerful smokeless powder.
I really wish the didn’t have to hold the those handguns like that. It almost ruins it for me especially the 45acp. What a disgrace capcom this is no GTA
Re2: Mp5 is a smg with no recoil and can have a tactical scope x3 zoom. Is perfect. Cod mobile: dude, you can't put a tactical x3 scope on the Mp5, is impossible. Is useless. Resident evil lies. F****NG cod mobile. I still want a Mp5 can shoot like a m4
note if you hear it with headphones you can hear little different gunshot specially when you heard the Matilda next to the M19 is like Battlefield gunshots
There isn't one in the original, and considering how effective the snipers were in previous over the shoulder games were, I think it would have been overpowered.
