Really dope Resi analysis. One thing I do like is how despite the remake being a retcon mess in RE lore it's still a pretty solid game on it's own and actually happens to be in my top 5 Resi titles for how great the gameplay and characters are (minus the butchering of Leon and Ada's dynamic). Now, I still prefer the OG over the remake but that doesn't mean that one game outshines the other. It all comes down to preference. (Or to me at least lol) Also ngl, the little edits in these vids are funny af. Really fw the style. 👀

Absolutely, remake deserves all the credit it gets hands down! Story is easily my biggest problem personally but looking past what are honestly minor issues, it’s quite the bar to set… which makes RE4R even more impressive!

the original RE2 was my introduction to the series, so no matter how cool i think the remake is, the 1998 version will always have my heart. IDK how you do these comparisons, i'd be way too biased!! love the videos :)
