@@pilkers2 he isn't entirely programmed to attack only stars members and be all none-hostile to those who aren't he is a monster, as seen he will attack those who are protecting stars members or are in his way, stars members are just his main targets that's it.

Remake wasn't so bad but especially Nemesis was a huge disappointment.

This looks goofy as hell. The remake does this in way cooler ways while looking better

@@விஷ்ணு_கார்த்திக் a few pixels on my screen running around like a headless chicken making the same noises, with the same stupid looking attacks. you could pass this nemesis off as a slightly above average strength enemy type in this game rather than a consistent threat. Completely ignoring the whataboutism the remake nemesis second form was not only way more interesting design whys, but also perfectly showed how the Nemesis can adapt to its environment. It’s first form can’t even swim, so it adapts fish like appendages. Its agility is enhanced massively. Then even after being “beaten” it comes right back to infect Jill. This game is simply outdated.

That is a good theory. Carlos isn't S.T.A.R.S. either, that's what I used to think was the reason. Still annoys me to this day lol

@@iimsoshady they are just smart, once you reach nemesis, Mr.X will just kill whats in his way like a tank but Nemesis is canonically smarter and able to adapt and mature, such as Must Find Bazooka, Umbrella HQ seems to be able to control some like an army Drone at times but does not stay in charge long, which is why his successor in 6 is even more so, they upgraded how he works to pretty much be fully autonomous but somehow loyal

The trick is to stay in front of Nemesis and not let him get close to the door. If he throws you out of the way, immediately get back up and try to get in front of him again. If you stay too far back he busts right in there.

He's not targeting Carlos specifically. Nemesis is only attacking Carlos because Carlos is protecting Jill. He's an obstacle in the way of the true target, nothing more. You can even see it at the end of the video. Nemesis pretty much ignores Carlos altogether and instead focuses on busting into the chapel to kill Jill.
