Which makes it odd that if the container drops outside of Jill’s place then how does Brad know the tyrant is only after Stars members and yet can be see running down the alley next to Jill’s
He forgot to mention how in RE3 police station stars office while playing as Carlos "Chris's note" in front of the lockers was missing but the envelope was still there.
What makes Marvin’s story sad is in RE2 he tells Leon to “shoot those things, uniform or not” and “not make his mistake”. In RE3, he hesitated in killing Brad because he was his friend.
Carlos took that note about not opening the locker just so he could troll whoever came along next...you just know when Claire of Leon opened that locker on Sept. 30th, Carlos got a feeling he'd just trolled someone and smiled to himself.
"Umbrella is a pharmaceutical company SECRETLY making bioweapons" Umbrella proceeds to put their logo together with "cartridge for bioweapon" and drop set cartridge in the city
Well most of the people around to see the cartridge were either mindless zombies, soon to become mindless zombies or soon to be dead. I think it's also pretty safe to say Umbrella had truly let the cat out of the bag at that point, it wasn't a secret anymore
Forgot to mention how in RE3 police station stars office while playing as Carlos "Chris's note" in front of the lockers was missing but the envelope was still there.
Doubt it. A similar gag was pulled in RE2R with that fat cop zombie beating on a vending machine for snacks. This is probably just a continuation of that gag.
It's not just him. Every character is better. Jill has much more of a personality here. Tyrell had just a couple of lines in the original, and here he has much more to do. Mikhail was barely a plot device in the original, and here he's much more developed. And Nikolai, whoo, boy... you might not have liked him in the original, but you'll hate his guts here.
Early game, after the 1st cable car meeting, you can hear a female voice over a loudspeaker attempting to calm the citizens of RC, she has a slight southern drawl and I believe that's officer Rita Phillips doing her thang.
Speaking of the loudspeaker annoucements, pretty sure you can hear the same annoucement from the start of the RE2 remake playing in one of the Downtown areas. The one Leon and Claire hear as they drive into town.
@@RikuVA yeah bro....That or it's an Easter egg, a nod to other games they've made. They already had a few Outbreak nods. The elephant restaurant flyer (outbreak file 2) and Kevin Ryman radio call from the police cruiser by the fire truck you cross over to the Kendo Gun shop/ RPD area.
RikuSenpai outbreak IS canon. Alyssa Ashcroft is the only one who canonically escaped Raccoon city. This is because I'm Resident Evil 7, there is an article written by her in the bakers house. This means that it is canon, however only Alyssa Ashcroft is known to have survived and the rest are either up to the player, or could be shown in the rest of the games
I still haven't seen a video talking about a rather small outbreak easter egg, one of the posters in the subway station is BIG E, which is a band that you only learn from by picking up special items in the Hellfire scenario
@@lolhowmad just see,or you were right. Considering how they are changing some pieces of story,to connect these remakes, they will for sure remake 5 and 6 too in a far future.
Brad said "this is like Arklay on steroids" even though he technically was only circling the property via helicopter... I was waiting for a pfft from Jill.
It's not like his partners would tell him about what just happened, considering he's part of the team and a vital witness to the existence of BOWs in Arklay.
Yeah that is what I was thinking so I watched that part. She didn't hit the jaw the same way though so I think that is why I didn't include. But maybe I didn't. This video was super complicated, lol. I can't remember.
Where's Barry It was a fun video! While playing I caught a few of these nods myself. Has me wondering if Capcom has a Aliens game coming we don’t know about just because some of the resources could be used for such a game. Anyway great job as always!
Alireza Sheikh Its the best one by far it’s just so damn short. The only thing that held it back from being perfect was Project resistance😢 They cut out so much because they needed time to make that POS:/🤬
When Jill turns around instead of following Carlos to the subway train, there is "No Hope Left" written on the side if the newspaper box. It is the box that hides the doll. "No Hope Left" is the tagline of RE6.
@@jaidengrimmer5509 The No hope Left tagline represent the story of the game. A global biohazard outbreak. And not the quality of the game which you all haters just enjoy to troll.
The connections between re2,re3 remake is really amazing if you play the two games together you’ll find it amazing and so many people hated re3r but if you take your time and appreciate the work they put into these two games it’s really cool.
gamer1forthewin45 lol your welcome, i mean re3r is a really good game I don’t get the hate tho, I understand why people are angry but still it’s pretty good especially if you play it tougher with re2r👌🏾🔥
It's not exactly "hated" (more disappointment) and the stuff named here wasn't criticized also. It's the changes, length and some other stuff. It's not a bad game, but also doesn't offer as much as RE3R nor includes most of the original (like RE2R did) AND both got made by different devs in Capcom. And don't forget the 60 € and the DLC costumes only being for people (like me D:) who preordered it and it doesn't look like they'll even sell it later. In any case, there's some mindless critique and hate and some valid points is all I want to say with that.
Chizuru94 can’t disagree with that tho, even tho the game is amazing they could’ve put more work into it and expanded the game because tbh 60€ is too much for 5h game, feelsbad but it’s a great game tho especially with re2r I mean i'm not shocked about how short it is because re3 always been short and not that good compared to the first two games, but still it would've been better if they put much work with it but i least the game came out amazing not perfect but worth playing it’s just the price is too much, i hope the rumors about re4 is true and they take their time with it tho and don’t rush it like re3r🤷🏾♀️
I don't hate it, I like it. I just feel that a lot was left out. Then again, a lot was left out of RE2 remake but it feels too short. The park, clock tower, the grave digger were all cut, and the minimal costume choices as opposed to the multiple choices in RE2 remake and OG RE3 leaves much to be desired. Yet, despite that I'm playing through a 3rd time.
@@serenseitcean2051 But did he do it on purpose or was he more "Gunshots = survivors = time to break through walls!"? The mind of a Tyrant is a questionable place.
If you turn on the power at the substation before walking into the railway office, Jill will ask Carlos where she can put in the route for the subway. Carlos will say he doesn’t know, and Jill will sarcastically say yes. If you go into the office and then turn on the power, Jill says she thinks she knows which building, and Carlos commends her for being ahead of the game.
There are quite a few details like that. Like when you're gathering the ingredients for the vaccine. If you pick up the note detailing the ingredients beforehand Jill will name them as you gather them. If you miss the note she'll just go "I guess this can help me create the vaccine".
after playing re3r multiple times, it's good somebody else noticed it too. i thought im the only one. i love how they change some few lines depending on the scenario.
She sarcastically says yes to putting out the fire. If you do as you say and NOT enter that room, the dialogue is, "i dont know where exactly i can just tell you its in the area" or something like that, i would have to replay again and copy it word for word. but Ive played through many times never going in this room until after the power is on, and everytime its the same saying on the radio.
There's another sly Outbreak reference in the hospital in the staff room lockers- there's hiking gear in a locker that you can open and has nothing in it. Outbreak fans will know that's the hobby (and unlockable outfit) for George, a surgeon at the hospital
I got one for the older folks. The poster on the supermarket door "Spirits Club" is Samantha from the old Bewitched tv show. The show's intro has a cartoon version of her and it's the same thing. Except she's holding a witch hat not a martini. 😁
There is another RE Outbreak reference in Nicholai's report near the end of the game, where he mentions a mission at the University, and in the first RE:O I believe, the last mission Nicholai shows up at the university watching over another Bow, thanatos
Damnit, we need an Outbreak remake, not RE4, RE4 is still perfect. It has aged much better than any of the other games. It is too early to remake 4!!!!
The Little Bosnia Experience I agree. I like to think of the saying “if it ain’t broke , don’t fix it” and RE4 is the opposite of broken. It’s perfect.
I think they will still remake RE4 because that was for the PS2 and I'm pretty sure Capcom will want a game for the PS5 along with RE8 and (if they make one) Revelations 3.
3:55 And that’s why voice acting could make a world of difference. RE3 did great with visuals and VA, but the gameplay was so short! I finished in 4 hrs! Come on Capcom!
I’m not entirely certain, but I do believe one of the survivors on the train when you first meet the UBCS is Louis from Left 4 Dead. He’s facing the other way but his outfit and everything else about him matches up completely.
@@rhondadaczko1894 what would valve do? Their games are some of the most referenced and easter egg'd games out there. I've lost count of how many crowbars or potato clocks I've seen in gaming.
I know right I've played them, the over the shoulder aspect from 4 is the best way to reintroduce the franchise to new fans, older fans and a hell of a better engine graphic to play in
Honestly, I love it as well, and I have beaten it a few times so far. But I wish they added more replayability. After a while, Nemesis just starts dropping ammunition.. That is boring. They could have added a lot more upgrades. And I would have liked a new game plus feature, where you can play through it with your already fully upgraded handgun, shotgun, etc.. It's not the same as buying what is available in store, you know? They could have added further upgrades for different playthroughs, even. Ways to upgrade the grenade launcher that only drop after you beat in the game on the same save file more than once. Ways for Jill to be able to get an assault rifle outside of Assisted mode, and upgrade it. I just think it had a lot more potential! And a lot of content was cut from the original. All in all, an incredible game and I respect a lot of these Easter eggs but I want a lot more!
@@Aomegeus So people are not allowed to criticize anything nowadays? Not even in a polite manner? Tell that to Capcom who's asking for suggestions and what fans think at the moment. I'm sure they disagree with you trying to surpress opinions, even though you got your own, too.
Brad's note that he put inside the pizza box at Jill's apartment could be an Easter egg. It foreshadows the Nemesis. "Enjoy the extra large Mega meat Supreme!" this is prepping the player for Nemesis and "Its on me and the guys." could mean its after all S.T.A.R.S
He showed it so he could talk about the poster thing after. Those two different lines, one kinda hidden, was the easter egg. And people seem to forget it's partially a nod to RE2's secret Brad encounter at the RPD.
In Jill's apartment you can spot a book in the same shelves where her beret is that says war photojournalism or something like that, which I think is a nod to Frank West
Not exactly an easter egg, but when Nemesis is chasing you after inputting the subway route and you enter the save room near where Murphy was killed, after a short while he will open the door and walk inside. Probably the scariest thing that happened to me in this game lol
The "shrink wrap" could be used to act like the powet limiting suit they wear. Perhaps after fully developed, they are put into the shrink wrap to keep them from early evolution, until they can be fit with the correct gear for a particular job.
RE Outbreak needs the REmake treatment! They were great co-op games and I loved that the T Virus could turn you into a zombie in the online mode. You could turn against your friends as an added twist!
I'm glad someone else found out about the Toy Store segment of Nemesis watching you thru the window. Needless to say on my 1st playthru of the game I got this to happen and was like "uhm why is he just standing there menacingly👀" I talked about it before in another comment section and someone tried to tell me his A.I. was breaking lol. He's clearly programmed to do that if you run into that store everytime.
I found it funny how guys with not much subscribers put a lot more effort into their videos than the ones that do have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, I hope you get the attention you deserve my dude keep up the amazing work you'll make it
Thanks. Also when I did my Demo easter egg video, a guy with over 5 million subs just used a bunch of clips from my video! Instead of playing the games himself (or paying someone to!)
William Hope was the model and motion capture for Mikhail but he voiced Nathaniel Bard, not Mikhail. Also, it's a discovery that Nemesis container was at the beginning of the game and can be interacted. Damn, I missed this one.
And another reference, if you go to the records and kill 200 enemies with an assault rifle, you'll get the achievement 'Suppressing fire' which is a node to the FX show, Archer
I like the enthusiasm, but "suppressing fire" is just a general concept in combat. It's almost impossible to accurately hit a target at range with full auto machine gun fire, but most people will keep their head down if there's that many bullets in the air. Enemies also can't fight if they are hiding behind cover. It's a little funny though that that's what they called the achievement for killing enemies.
The Nemesis capsule causes kind of a plothole. It's just outside Jill's apartment, yet it chose to attack Brad first, since he tells her about Nemesis when he calls her.
I feel like they missed a great Easter egg opportunity with the 'Welcome Leon' sign in the R.P.D section. They should have had it as the original 'Wellcome Leon' sign as a reference to the original game, but the player has a chance to shoot off the extra L from the sign which would have been a nice touch to the game.
Re 2 remake did that one if you look at the sign there is a gap between the l and c where another l was then if you look around the office u can find the second l
I'm surprised you didn't mention the power plant. The creatures are reminiscent of large facehuggers that injects parasites down Jill's throat which then explode out of her. The power plant is also uniquely gooey like an alien hive.
I went back to playing RE2make and noticed that the flaming skyscraper in which you fight nemesis the first time with his flamethrower that you can usually see when looking back from the main street where Kendo shop and the RPD underground parking exit is (street that you visit in both RE2/RE3make) isnt even a building that exists in RE2make. If you go at the same location in both games its not even there, neither is the firetruck which you use the ladder to cross over the barricades. Huge oversight imo (sorry english is not my main language but I hope you understand). Really nice video btw, found out about the creepy Nemesis myself which felt exactly that, truly creepy and wow nice find with Ken radio call youre deff onto something.
outlawzqc I think in the case of RE3, they try to rationalize the building’s lack of existence as it burned down. The truck is less excusable though haha
@@RikuVA Personally I think there were a few things they missed between both games. The reused assets should have been the same in both games. I suppose the issue would be how to accurately explain how Jill actually got to the gun shop as the road was completely blocked in two remake, so they added the fire truck in three remake. Realistically I feel that Jill should have been able to climb onto vehicles to avoid zombies, I think it would have been an interesting feature to the game. Then she could have climbed the cars and dropped down the other side onto the street or gone through the police station, both options make sense, rather then a fire truck that wasn't there in two remake.
Not an easter egg but super missable (at least for me): When Carlos first meets Jill and tells her he is part of UBCS you actually have to stay well behind Carlos to hear the full conversation. If you move up to the door it skips to the last line.
One more secret I just saw today on my 300th playthrough: after inputting the correct train route codes and walking back towards the subway you'll see the parasite reveal cutscene after walking out of Moon's donuts. But if you take the way around thru the 2nd level storage room and back down facing the crab restaurant there's a slightly different cutscene that takes place at the top of the stairs. And if you go the long way around, down the ladder near where you put out the fire the cutscene is... (well, see for yourself).
Laughed hard at the two easter eggs i missed, Carlos with darts and trying to trick the voice command lock. **Capcom please make true B scenarios for Claire and Leon, and please add the Clock Tower and worm and the other cut content. The remake was a lot of fun, but I miss the puzzles way too much.
Yeah the remakes are nice, but the puzzles will always be remembered. It feels like the remakes are now targeting speedrunners more than anything else... this coming from a speedrunner that still loves the classics lol.
The whole nemesis waiting out side the toy shop is not exclusive to the toy shop. infact it happens to any building where the only way out is the same way you went in, and to stop people getting annoyed with the fact the nemesis might block the door they made sure to just have him wait or disappear
That poster of ,,Disaster'' is poster for the movie Alien.. I mean just look at the hand of the Xenomorph, the weapon that the human is holding is the same gun that was used by Ellen Ripley in the first and the second Alien movies, the coulors of the picture are so Alien, and the biggest thing that can tell you that the poster is Alien is ,,HUNT FOR THE MISSING SHIP"... Pls don't be silly Kevin.
In the nemesis chase after the sewers event, before you go up the ladder and battle the nemesis with flame thrower, go down the ladder in the burning building. You will see the iconic STAGLA Station from the original RE3.
They definitely didn't nearly misspell 'Welcome' again. If you look on the table below the 'Welcome Leon' sign you'll see the extra 'L'. They knew they misspelled it the first time so they left a small gap there too as reference to that fact. They just put that there as a joke about themselves. 😏
Just a UBCS soldier, doubt it's one of Hunk's guys cause they all died in the sewer. He may have been one of the guys who released the hunters into the hospital or something
On the desk in Jills apartment, during the nightmare part if you look at the bottle of beer, its actually a bottle of Dulvey Beer, Jack Bakers favorite brand. Its hard to see because the bottle is turned around but you can make out the logo and the later bottles dont have it
This video makes me like muuuch more from the RE3 Remake. Sad it is that, with such level of details, the game is as it was planned to be, not was rushed or had content cut because they've run out of money or something. VERY STRONG MIXED FEELINGS is what defines me relation with the remake of one of the games i like the most.
I mean the wall poster at the end has "Fighting Story" with a dude with red eyes that looks suspiciously like Evil Ryu and above it is "Great Gladiator vs Executioner" and the Executioner is the same Executioner Majini from RE5
I first thought of it as Evil Ken. Now that would just be weird, I know, probably because he is too laid back to search for ultimate power leading him down the path of the Dark Hado, but I still found it to look more like him than Ryu.
Another (i think) alien reference is the new death way about the parasite, when drain deimos put on jill the parasites if you dont vomit them quick the kill you blowing jills stomach Sorry 4 my bad english, lols
The drain deimos are exactly like face-huggers/xenos. The pump parasites down your throat, the parasites burst out of the host in a similar fashion, the bodies around the substation are cocooned in a similar way to the hive victims in Alien and they even sound a little similar to Xenomorphs (the screeching)
My theory is that the hole in the wall on the 3rd floor was made by Mr. X when he first showed up at the R.P.D to wipe out the witnesses which would have been after Tyrell finished up boarding off certain things that we later interact with in RE2 such as the the box that opens the gate in the main hall, the outside area where they broke into near the entrance and the chain locked door in the Operations Room as well as potientially locking up lockers that Carlos opened (that one is far fetched but it explains why there's stuff in those lockers again). I believe Me. X was on the other side of the building or even in the basement area at the time since that seems to be where he is when Claire first shows up. (Yes RE3 confirms that Claire A and Leon B is the canonical path even tho those stories are alternative universes of their own). Or maybe Tyrell was attacked by Mr. X explaining why he shows up at the hospital injured and why Tyrell may have locked the gate in the main hall in the first place
@@primal8724 In the previous game they were conducting works on the sewer. Both Ada and Leon make there way down the scaffolding and into the sewer where Leon fights the alligator/crocodile. In my opinion they missed it in number three. Same with not explaining the big hole on the third floor police station wall.
