Wasnt a remake. It was a reimagining of RE3. 2 was a remake. They mentioned this already. Am I pissed that it's a reimagining? Damn right I am! If i were them I'd remove it and actually remake it.
Don't be exaggerated... Yes, it's a cool reimagination, but the mirror scene in RE3 Remake is a good idea too... Maybe one of the few new entries in the remake compared to the original.

Clever idea using that loud drip sound at the beginning before Jill wakes up and then again in the bathroom as a way to guide the player on what to do. Awesome nightmare sequence too, better than the official one.
No, they shouldn't have done that. A newcomer to Biohazard/RE will not understand that it's you (Jill). Someone who don't know the saga will just think a random zombie is coming out of the bathwater. With the mirror scene in first person everyone understand what is happening. Gotta be smart pal.

There are some good indies for pc like the old resident evil games... listing a few: Alysa, Them and Us, Tormented Souls, Echoes of the Living (this one is still in development, but have a playable demo already). All of them are based on fixed camera angles, the first one have ps1 graphic style, while the rest have more of a modern graphic aspect, resembling the resident evil 1 remake. There are actually more than that, but those are the ones that first come to mind to me.
I just love demakes so much. Especially when they turn modern day games into PS1 style,just shows that how much work and effort they put into making this.
Amazing and excellent work, this demake makes clear that Nemesis appereance in the remake was wrong so early. Breaks the rythm of situation and brings just a escape sensation but, without the horror and suspense. Excellent work!
This was amazing! First off, love the pajamas for her with the shorts instead of those damn jeans Second THAT WAS SUCH A GREAT WAY OF DOING THE PTSD NIGHTMARE!!! More realistic to have an actual event that happened(zombie in the bathtub) and combine it with the fear that she could have been infected - genius, pure genius Excellent work!

This is so freaking cool! And the idea of zombie Jill coming out of the dirty bathtub is a great throwback to RE1 zombie, but also alluding to her mental state, brilliant!
My brother and I are soon going to be working on an original survival horror in this style. Quick question. What modeling software did you use to make this? Was it Max? Blender? And what resolution did you render the backgrounds in?
Also the lightning effect, I assume you made various light levels in the actual 3D render, then set the background to play an animation of it? Whatever it was it looks phenomenal! Well done!

I love that this take on Jill's nightmare from 3 Remake gives a reverse vibe of "Same scene remade in a different time". If I had never seen 3 in any capacity and had to compare both nightmares, I could easily see myself believing this to be how PS1 RE3 actually starts, and how it evolved in the Remake we know now!

Olha isso ficou muito foda. Seria interessante mesclar o jogo original e o Remake, pegando o melhor de ambos e fundindo, ignorando as coisas negativas. Por exemplo aproveitando o início e a parte do hospital do Remake e fazendo o resto na forma do clássico. Seria uma bela farpada na Capcom.

Like others have said you did a good job with the intro it would have been a cool concept for even the original resident evil 3 to incorporate Jill having nightmares or hallucinations from the mansion incident
