This is very relaxing but it needs some thunder effects as well. Imagine hiding in an abandoned building waiting for the rain to pass, yet with all the horrors out there, you welcome the sound of rain and thunder as you try to get some rest.
Re3 is the perfect game to adapt into a movie, how they can never pulled off is beyond me....just imagine the intro been a flashback/nightmare in first person, Jill's POV when she open that first door into the corridor and faces the first zombie, then the scene cut to her waking up screaming in her apartment in a rainy night like this one and then she get up looking through the window and then starts playing this music......and then the sutile title pop up...Resident Evil. Man.. Hollywood sucks....
You know. The intro, they could make the Original start of the Game in the Remake. Brad: You gotta get outta there! Jill: Alright, lemme grab my- Apartment explodes and she lands on the Street and then a lot of stuff from the Original happens but at the explosion it Cuts to black so the cool ass Text with "I must survive" will pop up.
I'm actually against video game movies and TV shows (or at least very hesitant to watch them) because playing a video game with a good story is such a great experience. Merely watching a good movie/TV show is fine, but playing a video game with a good story is much more interactive, more involved because you play as the main character. You get more attached to the story and the characters compared to simply watching them in a movie. For Resident Evil, what made it so great (for me at least), is that we don't just play as the main characters (like Jill, Chris, Leon, Claire, etc), we ARE those characters. We're experiencing the survival horror with these characters, so we feel more emotionally attached to them. Take away the gameplay part of that experience, yeah it could be a great watch if it's done right, but it's not quite the "Resident Evil experience" that made the franchise so popular.
I'm 100% sure that it is possible to make a decent movie or series of RE 1,2,3, and CV. Just no one tries hard enough. I don't get why they always pack it full of stupid action scenes. Especially the start of the series (the first 3 titles) are heavily based on horror. I mean if they fear it is not entertaining enough ...... look at things like blair witch.... people running around and mostly nothing happens and ppl like it because it feels scary. Just do exactly that, add a creepy mansion to it in the woods with an undeground laboratory, not enough rounds to shoot everything, just some zombies and no horde, with noisy dark corridors. Half of your team is missing, everyone split up, main protagonist is alone mostly. Focus on exploring the lore, that the main protagonist with some flashbacks learns about the backstory in it's entirety and then focus on the conspiracy that is happening slowly but increasingly and you probably get a decent adaptation of the first RE, man that would be great & scary.
"Almost three days on the run from these ungodly creatures, myself and this random stranger managed to find a small shelter to stay hidden for a while. We blocked the doors and lit a few candles in the one room, we slept in. We only have enough food and rations to last us about a week till we can get to the rendezvous point across the states, As she started to get some sleep, I started to remember how it all happened. The whole town had gone to hell these past three days, a strange virus had spread, people have turned into these horrifying monsters, throughout all this panic, I'm not even sure if my loved ones made it to safety. The only thing I can do now is to survive. The stranger awoke and asked if I was okay, I said yes but deep down, she knew I was lying. We both had to reassure ourselves that everything would turn out okay. As the rain started to fall, it started to set my mind at some ease, we managed to get some sleep, by morning we have to continue on forward."
this has been my favorite ambiance ever since I discovered it 2 years ago. no matter how noisy and difficult things get, this can always help me calm down and focus. I love re3r and this video so much.
These last 2 weeks I been smashing it Monday to Friday in the gym, 11 years I smoked weed everyday in my shed, people taking advantage of me all the time cuz I'm a nice person, quit all that now been going to gym for the last 2 weeks or so and plan to go Monday to Friday for the foreseeable future :) this music helps get me to sleep in the nights - this and the code veronica save room music, Resi always gets it spot on with the save room themes
A melody of brief respite, a moment of peace before stepping back out into the Hell the world has become with the scourge plaguing it. All you fight and pray for, is to keep free of infection.
Do you not like either RE3 or just the remake? The original has an amazing variety of music with the sense of hopelessness. City in Ruin might be one of the best RE song/background song in the series and I say that with no hyperbole
@@xxdomoxxkunxx i never really liked RE3 in general. The overall vibe from it just never really sat with me besides the music. Its a really cool concept but in my opinion just kinda misses the mark for me. The power couple will always be 1 and 2 for me and that includes OG and Remake. Ive played em all and just have my preferences as to what i think makes a good resident evil.
Thank you for this. RE3 is my favourite. I listen to this while working. Did anyone read the SD Perry novelisations? I really enjoyed them, especially 3's.
@@Inblader It's a cool read. My understanding is that the writer actually wrote some non-game related RE books as well. Want to check those out at some point.
I’m a very fat man, so the thought of surviving a zombie outbreak is a pipe dream. Nevertheless; I’ll enjoy some RE3 ambience, and pretend everything would be okay.
omg time move so fast when i was 9yo kid play RE 3 nemesis n i love this theme now im 32yo :') the best RE series only till R3 cause genre SURVIVAL HORROR , RE 4 to RE 8 like ACTION HORROR not SURVIVAL HORROR again i think :') ty so much for beautiful childhood memories , i want back to that age :')
This is a very beautiful extended rendition of this truly iconic and soothing theme, cheers. I do agree with a few others who've commented saying that it definitely needs a little bit of distant thunder 🙂😉
Perfect song at night when you know you won't have to work for a while and the other will have to. Because you saw the doctor early the same day and he ordered you not to work.
This just goes to show how beautiful everything about RE3 remake as a concept actually was....apart from the game as a whole. You can tell somebody put a lot of effort into making a faithful remake of the original soundtrack and it is both beautiful and haunting. I guess like the remake itself, heh :/
I just recorded all the different audios from the game, such as the save room theme, the rain sound effect, and mixed them all together. They are a 40 minutes loop.
