I like to imagine that all three characters selected there weapons and equipment. Carlos chose fast and deadly weapons with three healing items. Mikhail chose heavy and powerful weapons and some healing items. Nicholai chose the bare-bones minimum needed to get the job done.
I'm not sure if an actual Sig Pro SP2009 could handle the pressures of the enhanced ammo cause those have to be either +P or +P+. The Sig would beat itself to pieces shooting that ammo.

Outstanding. I've never seen someone with such superior skill playing RE3. And with Nicholai too? Wow, fantastic! It's the hardest character to play with as well. Great video.
One thing I like about Nicholai here is how in the original, he's a much more mysterious villain. He had way more depth as a character as a result. You don't really know what he's up to until the very end, only dropping hints as the game progresses. In the remake, he's the stereotypical, greedy asshole villain just for the sake of that role who very clearly needs to be stopped. He's generic and effortless there as a result and I feel like they missed the point as to why Nicholai was such an effective character in the original.
Not just nicolai, they made just about everything as cookie cutter as possible in the remake. The scripted set pieces are so annoying and there's no downtime. Game starts with Nemesis chasing u in... Yup... A scripted set piece. Every enemy is a bullet sponge with no discernible weaknesses. It doesn't feel like fun at all. The graphics are the only good thing but they don't matter that much. I wish they'd given some of that effort to the gameplay modes.
I 100% agree with you. All the characters in the Remake are so generic. I prefer his original personality too, I like how you discover his true intentions during the game. I don't get why Capcom had to screw everything up.
This is how I would imagine how John Wick would be like in a zombie apocalypse. I mean having Nikolai _use_ Nemesis and his rocket launcher to clear the way was nothing short of brilliant! Amazing run, good sir! Cheers!
If Resident Evil 3 does get its remaster soon, I can already imagine so many players trying to get S-Ranks and the fastest speedruns on each Mercenaries character.

Can anyone imagine a version of the Mercenaries with the RE2 remake where you are dropped into the city during the outbreak like the intro for Re3 and you just have to survive and rescue survivors as a team and its like a sandbox of Raccoon City ?

He's not an expert, he's the goat. I feel like I'd have better chances beating hard mode campaign with no damage. What can only be described as; a harmony of mathematical precision.
This run is insane, I played this mode so much when I was young, but getting to the end I never had so much time left over. Merely seconds most of the time. Over 20 minutes is bananas.
