Trying to beat it on Hardcore for the first time. Gotta say, I’ve died so many times already and the enemies are annoying as heck. I’m slowing progressing forward through the main story 👍

Also I've heard that Rhinoceros beetle also increase health bar as equal to the green+yellow herb. Also can use beartrap trickily against opponents when they chase us. But need perfect timing and movement.
first tip is wrong. you 'shouldn't' save your herbs, specifically the yellow one. Use it with green and green only in the early game as you won't fully benefit from red herbs as your health bar is still very short. Keep the red herbs until you are at very low health to fully utilize it's effect. The same goes for first aid kit. In short, save red herbs and first aid until either your health bar is long enough to not waste them if possible.
A few more tips: 1)To skip the inscription "Resident evil 4", you need to press the "A" button on the gamepad. 2) To sit down, you need to press the sit down button. 3) If the game is too loud, in the settings you can change the volume in the "Sound" section
