Great run, honestly wasn't a fan of re 4 when I played it for the first time a few years ago mainly because of the controls but it might be because I didn't grew up with it so I didn't have the same kind of enjoyment most people get from it. But looking forward to the remake.
I genuinely don't understand this. RE4 plays like any other third person shooter survival horror. The biggest oddities are the laser sights and having to remain stationary while shooting, which similar games like dead space have also done. RE4 isn't a DOS era flight sim, the game is very digestible and easy to understand which is why it have been rereleased like a dozen times.
By far the best RE game out there and I always hoped we would get a Remake and now that we are im just hoping 🙏 they try to keep it as close to the original as possible. Like they say don't fix something if it's not broken just some upgrades to the graphics and engine is all it needs
Like with 2 and 3 they seem to have thought the old ones were broken and 'fixed' those. But in the sad reality the remakes are worse. Ogs will still continue to be better, even if they weren't all that perfect.
I actually bypassed 4 because a friend on PS4 asked if I'd played 5 at the time I was big into Bioshock 2 multiplayer. I hadn't even touched the first remake since it was released on Gamecube 😂 so she got me into playing 5. I admit at first it was hard to get into, he controls and such so we left it and I came back a few years later, played it and loved it and so I got back into Resi Evil again. Admitted I only liked Jill back then, well time passed and Rev came out, Rev 2 and that's when I started to like Claire (not as much as my sister) then I branched out and started playing the others, by then I'd got my youngest sister hooked on 4 because I still wasn't bothered and she'd come to like Ada 😂 i eventually played it and well it was annoying in parts, but I grew to love it just as much as the first three that came before it. She even got me 100% trophies 😂 5, 6, Rev 1 and 2 are all my favourites. The remakes I won't ever touch, only 1 and 0. It was nice looking back on how I got back into these games. Only I can't ever play this as the only PC I have is a Steam Deck and I'm not good with computers, so I have no idea how to download this without breaking something 😭
