Having the silencer for your pistol would have been nice in the final game since it does 5X times damage to the head. Weaker gets the silencer in the original in Mercenaries in the final game instead.
I hate to break it out to you... but that's not true. You see, the silenced handgun that Wesker use in Mercenaries is fully upgraded with the 5x crit chance increase and equipped with the silencer only he can have. The bottom line is, if you have/hack in the silencer for the main game inventory and equipped it to Leon's handgun, the description is basically a reuse from Wesker's. But the silencer effect in-game still work as intended even in the final game, silenced the gun noise when being shoot even around enemies.
@@arlynanderson4801My apologies you’re right. I haven’t played the original in a while so I forgot that you had to upgrade Leon’s pistol to max and get the exclusive of 5X times the damage. With the silencer without upgrades there isn’t a damage upgrade. I appreciate the correction, but it would of been nice if the silencer returned in the remake but it didn’t unfortunately.
@@KingMeowgi I'm not surprised they kept it out The suppressor in the original is already pretty broken if you mod it in, especially against Garrador. The Remake which has actual stealth mechanics? It would've likely been utterly broken.
