I think it's inevitable judging by the way they set things up with all those Wesker scenes. I really wish we got Code Veronica first tho. It feels really weird to jump from 2 to 4 and skipping through Wesker's first game with those Matrix powers of his.

wesker is not included in the dlc. you get him for free if you have the dlc or not its a free update but separate ways is $10

Wesker Mercenaries character is absolutely disgusting. RE made it again what many fans hates of this trend witch it's not based on real survival horror. in aditional, feeling powerfull player most time cancels the feelings of scaring and makes gameplay boring, you can play it once but not anymore. more it seems we're playing Street Fighter or Tekken

As the others said, The mercenary game mode designed for free to kill Rambo game. Not aiming for Survival horror. That's why the game mode doesn't show up if you don't finish the main survival horror game mode first.
