You know it's messed up when an A.I. and 1 fan almost perfectly recreate Resident Evil and it's atmosphere than all the live actions movies and live action shows combined made by groups of people with a bunch of resources and money.

Seriously though, what's the problem? There's plenty of source material to go with to produce a decent TV show or movie, yet any of the ones I've seen fall completely flat. RE has a big enough fanbase to warrant an honest adaptation with lots of money thrown at it. I'd wager it's a more popular series than Silent Hill and that got an honest movie made about it (in my opinion it was good). Even now The Last of Us has a TV adaptation and that game has only been out ten years or so (no hate; amazing game and a wonderful TV series so far), so why can't RE get the same treatment?

@@MINDWARDEN My point is that when people with the money, resources like Hollywood try to Adopt RE it comes out wrong because they don't care, know, and understand RE. Compared to someone who actually cares about RE then when they adapt it, it comes our great.Because they actually know, care, and understand the franchise.

Unpopular opinion but 5 was my fav resi bc it was fun had a lot of content and story, you could even read the story of all previous games, the best mercenaries mode with a lot of beloved charakters and it had atmosphere....even if it was more an adventure game than a horror game

I loved this game as a Kid, I used to feel like it was Re4 but for 2 people lmao (I was dead wrong). If this game ever get a remake, capcom please, Just make the co op optional (if you play alone, it would be Just Chris) and change the military zombies with ak section (that shit felt like CoD in third person). Amazing video!

Resident Evil 5 (1990) directed by James Cameron and produced by George A. Romero. In this next installment of the Resident Evil, George A. Romero returned as producer however, Sam Raimi would not return as director due to scheduling conflicts with filming Darkman. James Cameron would take over as his replacement. I know that it says if RE5 made in the 80s but a 1990 release would be suitable since it still had the late 80s feel to it plus filming would take place from mid 1989-early 1990

I’d personally would say 91-92, and RE6 comes out in 95. RE6 got mixed reviews due to tonal shift from previous RE’s with horror/gore being deemphasized/toned down in favor of action as it released with a PG-13 rating, a rated R cut exists but was extremely hard to find until the RE box set was released in 2010. RE6’s reception delayed RE7, which was originally meant to release in 1997, but was pushed back to 1999 and was considered a major success. A sequel tentatively titled RE: Village is scheduled for early 2003 release

I actually support an RE5 remake because making the setting creepier and getting the chance to implement features they didn't get the chance to like your eyes adjusting to the light and much denser Majini attacks would make an already amazing game even better.
