I rewatch this scene so much that I craved steak. Made steak this afternoon and all I think about was Peers saying his line. The steak was good btw, not perfect but good. "Hard to find a good steak around here, not like restaurants"
I really like this cutscene because it gives Chris flaws, which makes him more interesting, instead of just being "super military man". Drunk, sad and violent Chris looks more like a real person.
You are 100% right. Brother.. This is the "THE" only scene that allows Chris to be human with flaws.. After all he was a military man or just a man in general that has gone through a lot. "We can only judge a man, about, his appearance, looks, his clothing, work money status, or work ethic etc. But you never know what is going through a mans brain.
@Austin Rocha I can relate to this scene aswell bro. Is kind of a personal thing and few can undertand this though.. But good outlook from your part.. "When things get tough theres always a way to fix them" Yeah.. You are right.
I think it's the fact that "the one got away" as in Jill. It would affect almost every other man if their "one" is with another man or don't love you anymore. Am I right fellas? Screw CC. I'm moving on. Her lost. C'mon military fellas, I need your aid. Screw those who are not loyal. Movie "Jarhead"
Chris fought Bio terrorism for years. He witnessed horror, gore, and violence. It was supposed to end when Umbrella and Wesker died but more and more people arrive with new viruses It's enough for anyone to ask "When will all of this end?" "What's the point if a new person pops up with their new virus after we stop the last plague?"
@@anomalousdelirium she can do whatever she wants bc she's the bartender and he was a clearly intoxicated and RUDE customer. Chris had no right to say that and she had every right to douse him
@@lunardelos1210 Right. Chris was clearly.. drunk. And perhaps i shouldn't compared it with real life situation where drunk people say and do much worse thing than Chris here. Oh well.
Chris fucking lost his memory for the team and what happened. Piers was just trying to get him to remember them and to honor them by stopping bioterrorism.
@@dummyddude1080 Chris lost his memory from fucking PTSD... Piers was forcing it out of him when he was already drunk, super vulnerable, and in a bad mindset. Piers is a piece of shit
Chris is such a good character, I don't know why people don't give him much attention. His story is full of depth and I'm honestly captured by it. (Also his 'listen sweetheart' made me giggle like a little girl)
Despite how hated resident evil 6 is. I hope they revisit Chris's storyline with all the psychological trauma he's experiencing. Fucked up part is that this could have been psychological horror losing everybody. My guy piers was about to get into a bar fight and basically said," get your ass back here. Your not done yet." If i was Chris i would have burst into tears right there.
@@nemesisa-type6721 makes sense. Chris is at his 50s or 60s yet BOWs still exists. Now, BSAA is using BOWs. A huge slap to Chris who created the BSAA😢
@@urielcorrea4408 I agree. I was disappointed that they missed perfect opportunity for Chris tell Leon how he understands where he is coming from. Same with Leon, i wish would have seen his last mission that caused lot of people to die because it honestly felt they ripped off Chris's story from RE6.
Most of the time. I used to have friends who would party and have fun but the alpha leader of that group just dislikes me because I'm annoying (which is who I am). So I ended the friendship to relieve my stress, lost touch with majority of those friends b/c he is a f&* alpha leader. I hate him but deep down inside my heart I see him as a normal guy who has serious anger problems and issues.
I was the bigger man and let that "kid" win arguments to avoid conflict, a bloody fight, to end my career (by fighting him back and police being involved) and put me on the streets all bruised up, and to put him in jail. Maybe prison if he goes too far on the fight. But I decided to not start that fight. He seriously has anger problems though.
Drunk but my brain is still sober. I think she tried to outsmart him by giving him a used bottle. Like less than half left. 25% liquid amount of alcohol left?

The BSAA should have sent Jill to find Chris because of how close they are and she would have been able to comfort him and assure him that all those deaths weren't his fault.
@rjtheripper931 that's a moot point. Sometimes it's uncontrollable when men die. They knew the risk and accepted it when they joined the BSAA. That's most likely what Jill would tell Chris right before she hugged him and he had a breakdown while in her arms. Chris would then thank his partner for bringing him back to reality.
@rjtheripper931 at the end, chris regained control by not shooting her and saying it's not about vengeance, it's about justice. That is, until she got shot by one of the agents that was working with Simmons.
It would be funny af if you could unlock "alternate takes" and snippets of these cutscenes were severely altered. I d like to see Piers say something like, " I know that this steak isn't real..."
Last time commenting because I'm annoying. Still here. Thanks for the upload. Thanks for the likes on my comments. Let's celebrate and drink. Even the bad times. Fallen soldiers or depressed lonely very few people like me. Drink to our happiness. Cheers!
You know what I played the shot out of this game it may not be classic resident evil but goddamn it’s one of the best action games ever “for the future” piers nivans
When he said "Dama Vas je zamolila da odete" or well "Lady asked you to leave" What language did he speak? 11:13 Since im Serbian and thats how we say it in Serbian as well, i just assumed that he spoke Serbian(?) because thats where my location was while playing the game but i dont think thats the real case now. Is there any information about this?
I saw it as a signal so piers can make the final attempt at snapping chris back to reality, which worked (although piers gave up) because chris saw the bsaa emblem.
I don’t understand this cutscene. Are all those guys who stood up BSAA agents? If so, why did they all just sit around and pretend to be normal instead of approaching Chris at the bar? And how did they know he would be drinking at that exact bar so they could go in and sit around pretending to be civilians? And if piers recognized him as Chris why didn’t he say something when he brought up the steak? How did he know that Chris would become erratic and try to smash a bottle on someone’s head? So many questions lmao. Just a poorly thought out scene.
It's basically meant to be like the end of Captain America the first avenger where they had simulated the 1940s and were slowly going to introduce him to modern day by monitoring him, the way I see this scene is them keeping tabs on Chris and slowly trying to get him back to the man that he was.
Fill her *up* You've had enough. Listen, sweetheart. You're here to pour drinks and look pretty, so how bout you shut your mouth. *pulling bottle from her* (Savage) *splashes drink in his face* How bout you get the heII outta my bar! (Savage right back) Poor Chris
Tbh this cutscene is hard for me to watch, this game was the one that made me hate Chris, and I am still quite mixed about him, and I don't find this cutscene badass
It’s realistic though. What man wouldn’t have problems after going through so much shit in their life. It’s meant to be hard to watch cause it shows Chris is a human person not a perfect “superhero” without any traumas.
@@zigsteenine8650 Yeah, I get that, I just don't like people justifying all of that cutscene, although I do get why he's drinking, I'd probably need a few drinks to try to forget half the shit he's seen, I do feel quite bad for him, I just don't like the harassment part
