it's pretty obvious that the real "hero" of RE7 is Ethan because he's pretty much the one that killed Eveline in the main story, not Chris hence the title of dlc

Gabriel Nedev He killed Lucas. Even if he wanted to or not, that doesn't make him a hero. DC, especially Injustice, handles this SO damn well, especially if it involves Batman.

I'm pretty certain that the title is a reference to what Chris said in the "Resident Evil: Vendetta" movie. A soldier made remarks about him being a hero, and Chris immediately deflected it and said that all the zombies he has ever killed were family members of someone else. Not so heroic anymore...

He utterly fails at keeing any of his partners alive past RE 1hough. basically... You only EVER do one mission with Chris. If you do a second one, you will die at some point now. One and done

@@UnifiedEntity Because she really wasn't presented as his partner. She was presented more as an associate. She was assigned expliclty for that mission and hadn't actually spent any time prior. So she wasn't his partner. She was just fellow agents. (Arguablly her partner was that one captain you link up eventually who they have history with). Another method of counting would be "one mission with chris is fine. More than one and you're marked for death or half death" Chris "die for me" field really only effects actual partners, rather than associates or fellow agents. When you supend enough time for him to be fond of you. Then you die. Sheva did that mission with Chris. but completly disengaged from him after. (outside of the random email to Piers anyway). In effect she took a similiar roll as Barry or Rebecca. They were allies, but not partners. which is probably why they're also not dead or temporarily dead (in Jills' case). Amusingly his sister has the opposite effect (outside of the guy from Survivor anywayy. Not sure how long term thato ne counts) Being partners or close to Claire in effect makes you invicible. Leon can't die. Sherry Berkin literally can't die. Moira Burton somehow survived the island for 6+months. The fellow from Survivor arguably falls under short term associate considering it was half a day prior to his death. Give or take a few hours I think. TLRDR? You get one mission with Chris, any more you're marked. You get one mission with Claire, if you survive it you're neigh immortal, or at least you accrue several get out of jail cards.

She was a person involved with Chris's mission like the men who served under him and had the choice to follow and they kept each other alive. Jill literally went on another mission with him and how did she come out? Alive. If she did die? Well what did you expect, it's B.O.Ws for Gods sake and blonde Agent Smith they were up against.
