About the mod:
Resident Evil - Ada's Mod is a new game modification for Resident Evil (PC). It tells the story of Ada Wong and her mission to the Arklay Research Laboratory and her escape as referenced in John's Diary during the original game. It features many unique changes and exciting gameplay elements new to Resident Evil such as new boss battles, enemies, items and so much more.
• Play as Ada Wong - Experience Ada's escape from the Arklay Lab
as originally detailed in John's Diary.
• Start game in different location - Start the game in the Arklay Lab
rather than starting in the Mansion Hall.
• No Character Selection Screen - When selecting the New Game option the
game will load directly in to Ada's game.
• Zombies Keep Location - If a zombie follows you to a door and you
leave the room and come back, the zombie might be waiting right where
you left them. Some do not return to their original spawn points.
• Removed Door Transitions - I have disabled the door transitions.
While you can skip doors on the PC version of Resident Evil, this
removes the need for the player to keep pressing a button/key in
order to skip doors as quick as possible.
• New Items - In this mod you will collect a handful of new and unique
items as you explore and escape the Arklay Lab.
• New Music and Sound Effects - Experience new Music and Sound effects.
• New Routes - Explore the Arklay Lab following new routes through
familiar locations.
• New Boss Battles - There are 3 boss battles in this mod, each with a
twist. You cannot just run away, you have to fight!
• Changed Puzzle Solutions - Changed the two puzzle solutions in the
Arklay Lab. (Computer Puzzle and Box Puzzle).
• Increased Difficulty - Zombies & Monster will cause more damage when
hitting or biting you.
• New 3D Models - There are new 3D models for characters, items, enemies
and more.
• Custom SCD Scripts - This mod features custom SCD scripting to have features
such as doors being locked and also items not being able to be picked up
until the room is cleared of enemies.
• Custom DLL - This mod also has a custom .DLL which allows the game to be
have many custom features and tweaks and this means that the original
game.EXE does not need to be hex edited or changed in any way.
• Weapon Damage Changes - The weapons in this mod have had their damage
values altered for different monsters. This means that some monsters
will be stronger and some will be weaker.
• Changed Game Text - I have changed the game text to make more sense
grammatically. Some text also features custom color to highlight
important information or item names.
• 'Custom' cutscene added in as well as certain area's changing when
revisiting them later in the game.
