You just beat this game 7 months ago..... WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN THE LAST 20 YEARS!!?? Unless you're a kid then I'll forgive you. Yeah this game is a classic.
This game finish the “classic” RE series in a perfect fashion. It has EVERYTHING the good old ones has: plot, music, challenge and specially the recollection of the classic RE1. I never played the newer generation ones, but, to me, this is the most challenging I’ve ever played. 👍🏻
The Dé·jà Vu is in reference to Resident Evil 1, in the Spencer Mansion. If you played the first game and then Code Veronica, you would immediately recognize the hallway with the stairs on Code Veronica, where this music plays. The hallway with the staircase, the second level walkways, and the art room on the first floor, east of the staircase that contains the statue in the center, along with two doorways east of it; are a very similar design to the Spencer Mansion floorplan from RE1 (1996). So it's dé·jà vu for Chris Redfield, Albert Wesker (even though he was in league with Umbrella), and the audience playing the game.
Same, I was like holy shit, talk about an exact replica. I wanted to know why it was there as well, I know Alexander was one of the founders of Umbrella, but in the middle of a base in the 5th basement floor I really wanna know why.
For some reason, this track feels creepier after the first fight with Alexia. At that point, it's down to Chris and Claire. Steve is now dead, Alexia is a monster roaming the place, and Wesker is in some random place. Gives you the feeling that you're on your own and no one is there to help...
And what haunt the most, is the feeling from a RE player that, in that Mansion, nothing is what you expect. Chris, when arrived in the Spencer Mansion's replica must know that things will get even worse now.
This soundtrack really fits the dark and oppressive feeling of reliving the nightmare from the first Resident Evil again. And this soundtracks also totally gives me the feeling that this game is going to end soon and that things are getting serious now.
Next to "Rasen" this is one of the most unsettling pieces of music in this game. It always makes me feel bad. Like I want to leave that area as soon as I can.
I really hope this gets the remake treatment next imagine things like the private house, Alexia and Nosferatu, Bandersnatchers, Antarctica all remade..it would look amazing!! i hope IF they do it that they use a different engine..i don't want this to look exactly like RE2 again....and i also want them to not cut a lot of the stuff out like they did with RE3....I loved RE3 anyway tho :)
If Capcom WERE to remake this game, They BETTER remake the same way like they did with the FIRST Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0, none of that RE7 shit.
@@scarletemperorrocky8900So do you still have faith that Capcom will do the resident evil 1 remake treatment? Or do you think they will do the Re2 remake and Re4 Remake Treatment or the Re3 Remake treatment?
I often think the difference in player and character's reaction in this part of the game. Chris and Wesker are thinking "This again?" because it's only been a matter of months. But for the player, it's been four years and are thinking "Wow, this takes me back!"
I think Alfred made their own house so creepy during Alexia's 15-year long absence. Alfred was so obsessed with his own sister that he became crazy without her and remodeled the house and hung up that gigantic doll representing Alexia.
Most RE CVX soundtrack are good... Deja Vu and Rockfort Mansion (The Suspended Doll) are my Favorites because the piano..also Alexia's lullaby.. and Leila Johnson nailed it
RANDOM DIARY MEMO I've been stuck in this Nightmare for too long. Any existing good, that is: any survivors, items, or even hope of escape that I run into, quickly turns to... Evil. How long have I been residing here? The sound of flesh-eating moans narrates my Residence. Although i'm heavily armed, the procurement of ammunition is becoming tedious. Despite all the past opportunities to devour me, I'm at optimal health. These Zombies... would eat even their fellow corpse lying on the floor. My suggestion: Unless you're quick, just avoid playing hero. Sincerely, Anonymous
For me, this OST sounds like "The last phases of the game is approaching" because, every time I get untl now (I played on Dreamcast 6 entire playthrough of this gameXD) I hear this and I feel chills on m bones XD So... Dejà Vu? I don't think that the composer got a right title XD Pheraps, this was meant to be to a previous phases cut-em'off from the beta-version to the final?

mopbrothers I actually found it extremely easy, and this was one of the first resident evil games I ever played. Altho the tyrant battle on the plane is very hard, I still die a lot at that boss
I found this game extremely easy too. Throughout the game I was just bombarded with Green Herbs and didn't know where to put them. And near the end of the game I ended up having so much ammunition for my weapons that I could waste some Fire Grenades on zombies, and I didn't even run out of them until the final boss.
It's easy. Just run past the zombies and save ammo for the monsters. Although that booby trap with the cannon is rather tricky. If you don't act fast enough to place the ball on the ground, SPLAT! Game over. Play the game without using first aid sprays, no saving and no retries under 3 hours and you get a rocket launcher with infinite ammo. 👀
