great series of guide to get all achievements for this game. I recommend following the series starting at number 1/5. It was great getting to play one of my favourite games again from my childhood.

Turns out splash damage does blow up the nitro capsule, _if_ you're close enough to the CH. My fault for thinking I knew what I was doing after 3 other playthroughs 😂
Hey Optinoob! I just got the platinum watching most of your guides. My first play through I did as Chris so instead of doing another normal Chris run I did the no saves and got it first try! I was sooooo nervous with the nitro canister but I made sure to clear out every enemy before I tried walking it back. I couldn’t have done it without your guises and your humor is peak and makes going for these RE platinums so much more enjoyable. TY
For the final comment on this series, thanks again so much for the great and easy to follow guides. I got the platinum today because of your videos and was surprisingly able to do the last run as Chris all from memory.

*EDIT* -So if you do it to much, then you do indeed explode. But I was able to get away from it for roughly 2 doors. (I'm aware this is an old series, and I'm currently at 2:07:51 so if you mention this after apologies for the repeat information) It appears that if you use tank controls, and rapidly tap the run button (at least on Xbox Series S) then you don't explode while "running"
Fantastic videos. I used to play the GameCube version so much back in the day. I'm not sure why, but I put off a handful of the trophies when it came out for PS4 initially. All that to say that these guides are super-helpful. I very much enjoy the casual manner with which you tackle these tasks. Taking a piss out of the game here and there along the way really makes me lose it and laugh a lot. Thank you for all the hard work and patience in making these guides! Moving onto RE0 and 5 next. I wish I had known about your videos when I was playing through the remake of Resident Evil 2!
Another playthrough bite's the dust! However, it will be a while till I get back to playing games... as real life matters take priority once again, but when I do come back it will just be for a no save run and then to die on my own terms, lol. Thank you sir for you're guides and all the best! ^-^

Just finished this playthrough and just wanted to mention how weird it was to kill Lisa Trevor in her last encounter because I did the same by shooting a rocket and seeing she isn't there anymore which made me laugh (I think she fell of the edge or something). But thanks again for this playthrough I have enjoyed it just like the others, I just have the last one to complete the game without saving then I am done with this game, thanks again!
Good guide. I was following your guide with the infinite rocket launcher because I needed chris’ best ending run. I was also doing the no save as well for both trophies. I died TWICE CARELESSLY! First time: I tried shooting with the rocket launcher when I had the gas tank at the lab (OMG moment) Second time: tried shooting the sharks then big shark killed me one hit. Yeah I hate the no save trophy runs!!! Wasted 3 hours of my total day!
Hello there @optinooby I know I’m not your patreon to ask for this, but would you consider making an Everyman’s guide for RE: Revelations 1 & 2? There is a ton of vids of it, but not like your guide, without commentary and your kind of passion and love for it. Bc walkthroughs on INSANE difficulty with knife and no saving are not for everybody, but your guidance is most welcome and can be replicated with ease. Thanks to your guide I made RE2, RE1 and now soon RE 0. And yes I also have ALL RE games in my library so I’m not stopping watching your vids here on yt anytime soon. 😅😅😅
@@Optinooby idk, I played REV1 and ALWAYS run-off ammo (so I gave up) and REV2 I played with my friend in coop on Xbox in split-screen, I never touched online. Also I play on steam and even though it says you can play online cooperative actually you can’t. On consoles it’s a different story.
I am here finally! I got zero and 1 bundle deal 2 weeks back. I started playing RE1 blind last weekend but I died so many times and gotten stressed out, So I am here to watch this guide as my first time playthrough cause I want to get the stuff out of the way then play for fun afterwards. Now my first time playing was Chris' story since he has 6 slots and a lot harder cause of it, but is this video normal difficulty? Aka Climbing Mountain? I'm asking cause I'm at work right now and preparing myself for this game later on today after I get off work. So again, is this normal setting? Edit: Saw the description and I'm not there yet to have the infinite stuff, so I'll go watch Jill's Guide and start from there. Now.... that means I'm going have to scrap my first time Chris playthrough and overwrite it with Jill's first time playthrough.
Could you also pretty please do a Chris play through with all cutscenes like saving Richard, I’d love to follow along since it’d be my first playthrough with Chris.

Platinum Chasers does similar walkthroughs as well, we plan a little differently though. He stopped uploading on his channel temporarily though a few months back
I got 3:10:00 using your real survival speedrun guide. Do you think following this guide using the Samurai's Edge would be a good way to get under 3 hours and unlock the rocket launcher? I noticed you finished this one in like 2:12:00.
It will be easier and quicker m8 yea as u wont need to grab normal ammo, u may need to adapt the guide slightly though I actually meant to do it with the Samurai Edge as well for those that cant make the 3 hours as I know it is quite tight when u are sorta new to the game. Unfortunately I never got to it though ;(

I am currently following this same walkthrough and did not get the 'Starsenal' trophy. I linked my PSN account with my Capcom account and it's saying I did not equip the rocket launcher. So i'm guessing infinite launcher does not count right? once I equip the normal launcher the Starsenal trophy should pop?
I only ran into him in second floor small dinning room behind bookcase, glanced him on the landing above medical stave room and of course before crow gallery. Thankfully he only got 1 hit on me. I survived😀😀

Im having issues following along because of that anoying explosive zombie, even on Very Easy. There´s no way to make him not appear unless its on Real Survival...

You took the canteen for trophy But Im thinking it Might be Useful for no Inks Run to burn the 2 zombies blocking the way when holding the nitro compound capsule , unless it takes a damn long time for em to be Crimsons Heads You Said it doesnt matter if you get Grabbed in very easy But It Probably Got Patched
