Damn I love the motion controls, since the perspective is over the shoulder it really makes you feel like you're using an actual gun and knife. I've enjoyed the setup since RE4.
I was impressed when I saw Doom and Skyrim running on the Switch. More so when I bought them. Then this comes out and honestly blows me away more than those other two did. They look gorgeous in Handheld mode and the Gyro Aiming, my gosh, it becomes a whole new game. If they port over RE 4-6 with Gyro Aiming, I would not hesitate in picking them up, the level of control is just that good.
I want to get revelations 2 but the file size is so large and they didn't get 32gig carts :( already have doom and la noire taking up 20 gigs between them I can't keep doing that much longer
Personally, I felt like the aiming mechanics with the joycon motion controls were pretty stiff, compared to the 3ds version of revelations 1. It was so stiff in fact, that trying to play like I used to became seriously frustrating. I wish there was some way to further increase the aiming sensitivity. Assuming it uses the IR Camera, and not a gyrosensor or accelerometer, this would make more sense as to why the aiming sensitivity is so poor, for me. I would suggest programming an option to use accelerometers for motion control aiming, as an added option in the controls menu. The 3DS version used a gyrosensor, if I remember correctly. Its function is very similar to accelerometers, which I have indeed seen used in Joycons before.
How much space does the physical version require again? I know its one of *those* games that they just couldn't put the whole game on the cart and just leave save data and updates up to your storage like it should be.
Boomboom 64 I can't speak for Revelations 2 since I haven't played that yet, but the first one was really interesting. The raid mode was lots of fun to play with friends too.
