@@160sharpand unfortunately they backpedaled again with RE8 in terms of horror because too many people complained 7 was too scary. So disappointing but I hope they return to a scarier game
I know people hate on the turret sections of games. However, I'm old as dirt and turret sections reminds me of old arcade cabinets I would play with my old man. He is an old hunter and gun games just clicked with him. Good times. While I admit they are kinda stale, I just can't help but enjoy myself. Great video my dude.
Another absolutely fantastic video! Man, I remember when you didn't even have a hundred subscribers it feels so good to see your channel grow so fast. You deserve it!
Oh Tristen your one banger away from absolutely blowing up. Ya got the terrible (as a resident evil) 6 game and the beloved 7, you’re gonna blow up my friend.
IKR? It's a better Resident Evil 5 than the actual Resident Evil 5, even if the writing is still on par with that title (read: not very good). I do feel that of the Dark Age, this is easily the only game of that lot I can happily play over and over again (No, RE4 doesn't count because I consider that to be part of and the end of the GameCube era despite introducing the OTS playstyle). I'll also have to say that this game's influence on the current revival era is very present when you play, and that the Queen Zenobia is one of my favourite settings in the RE mythos being a water fan.
I did feel the setting was very unique and the game as a whole does a great job standing out from the balls to the wall action ridiculousness of the titles it’s sandwiched within
I'm always shocked when I hear that people DON'T like Revelations (1, or 2). The only problems I have with the game is the episodic format being... really dumb. Thank goodness the gaming industry largely abandoned that. Otherwise the gameplay is solid, the music and atmosphere is fantastic, the enemy designs are really unique (being based upon sea life lends itself to creativity), and the story is pretty nifty. Most of the new characters are pretty alright too. Overall it felt like a proper "classic" Resident Evil game. the fact we haven't gotten a Revelations 3 yet is a crime. Especially after how nifty 2 was.
Wow I don't know how I missed this one. This game had some good moments, but was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I liked actually getting Chris and Jill together in a story, but I didn't need the goofy characters.
