This theme is kinda sad and it makes me think in 3 things: 1. Rebecca's neverending mission and fight for survival. He fought the leeches, then Umbrella's BOWs and had to survive for the hunt of STARS members. 2. Billy's dissappearance. He is oficially "deceased" and will be eternally covered by Rebecca. He never was seen again and he just faded up from light. 3. James Marcus tragic fate. If you review his story, he wasn't an evil world conqueror wannabe like Spencer or Wesker or other antagonist. He was just a man passionated by science and research and he only wished the best for his leeches and treat them like his children. He was betrayed and cold-bloody killed and that was exactly the reason that he became a monster.
I mean, not defending Umbrella, but the sole reason as to why he was assassinated was because he started becoming too paranoid and then started killing off too many Umbrella trainees to either experiment on or to feed his leeches lol. Birkin taking credit for his work was just a part of the cover-up attempt by Umbrella.
Right? I understand why this game was not the favorite one among the rest .. but still it was amazing and felt like you are really playing the classic RE game.
This is one of my favorite ending themes from the series! To me it has a sad almost melancholic feel to it. It makes me sad knowing now that it represents an end of an era for Resident Evil, as this was the last true classic game!
@@shadowlink14_2 I agree, while this is my absolute favorite series, I love the classics so much more. I liked 4 for what it was, however it's style got whored out throughout the games. I thought 7 was kind of unique when I played through the first part, then it became redundant towards the second half. I want to like the new one, however I don't care for the supernatural theme to it! Resident Evil was always meant to be science fiction horror. I'm sure Capcom will tie this in to the overall series with some sort of virus or some such. In all honesty, I'm ready for another continuation into the series with the usual cast, and not this Ethan Winters nonsense. However, I believe Capcom is making this into a trilogy. As for further installments, I'm honestly not looking forward to RE4 remake, as I feel that the original is perfect the way it is. They need to remake Code Veronica, and come full circle with the original story arc! That's my opinion anyway, what do you think? How do you think they should continue the series?
To me the pacing and the sound of this track reminds me of the rise and fall of Marcus's vision. It's starts out with a good desire, then turns dark, then becomes warped, then he allows himself to become lost, gets killed, comes back and causes both the train and mansion incident virus leaks and thinks he'll get away with it and then the end at last lets us know beautifully there is hope and her name is Rebecca
Common misconception: The villain of the game is NOT actually James Marcus. The real James Marcus was murdered by Umbrella. The villain is actually the Queen Leech, one of Marcus’s experiments that just thinks it’s Marcus. Hell, you even find Marcus’s skeleton among others he experimented on near where the mutant frogs are. So no, he doesn’t “come back.” At least, not in the sense you mean. The creature has Marcus’s memories, but that’s it.
My actual 1st resident evil game i actually played on the GameCube... Sure ive seen my friends big brother play the PS1 versions of RE1, 2, and 3... But just never had the heart to play it till RE0 was out for the GC... And my Brother in Law (sisters bf at the time) got me into playing it... Never looked back...
DID YOU KNOW this song also plays when you have one character in the sewers and the other character in the attic? You have to stand still when entering a room in the upstairs or else it will fade out and no music will play.
@@shadowlink14_2 I mean they came out both in 2002 and it was like the peak of ps2 titles getting released. And no my first RE game was RE 4 and I played that much later in my middle school days compared to R & C. I just beat RE 0 two days ago and now I'm playing RE remake currently. I loved it, although I wish ammo and health was a bit more common
Juan Gonzalez No...Zero was an unneccessary waste of time with terrible gameplay, atrocious writing, pointless characters, horrific acting...but the music was really good.
Tell S.D. Perry about that... She wrote the books... Resident Evil Zero was written long time ago... Resident Evil Zero and The Remake show and represent survival horror. Puzzles, and very scary scenerarios make them 2 of the best Re Games Ever
Juan Gonzalez I have all the books. Zero was the last and contradicts itself (for one thing, Trent's family supposedly created the Progenitor virus, not Marcus, in one of the biggest cliches in the series). The two original novels were marginally better than the ones where she adapted the games (she managed to kill Wesker in the first one, Alexia's final form is absent from Code Veronica, and she got Re2's story jacked up and backwards); still, they aren't good because none of her characters have personality and are all more or less interchangeable. As for Re0, it introduces a pointless character who goes nowhere, has the obnoxious gimmick of playing two people at once (which they removed the item boxes in favor of, which forces you to backtrack a *lot* more than you used to), the main enemy is badly written, the puzzles are dumb, and overall the gameplay is stale. There's a reason it was the last "survival" themed Resident Evil game; had Re4 not been such a success, they planned to end the series with it.
Don't blame the creators of the game. Blame the writer she was the one who wrote the book... I think re zero is one of the scariest re games all timem. They used the same mechanism like the remake good graphics! The puzzles were hard in my opinion . Idk u but it took me a while to resolve the puzzle where you have to light the animal torchs. The eagle, deer, snake i dint rember the othet two... Re zero has great graphics, great music... Dropping Itens is another way to make it more realistic instead of putting all your items inside the box... Dont you like re5? Re coop 5 was inspired from re zero where you can play with 2 characters at the same time.
