Residential Brick Streets 

To extend the life of our streets and reduce the frequency of traffic-snarling repairs, the Village has used bricks instead of asphalt when fiscally viable. Though the initial investment is greater, brick streets can last up to 100 years, compared to asphalt and concrete that have a typical lifespan of 20 to 30 years.
