I really appreciate how you got your start, and I can relate to your mentor and his way of thinking. I use to work at UTA in the Aerospace and mechanics department in Arlington, Texas I see there is a big need for Engineers to have practical experience with the PHDs in Engineering also. A lot of the students don't have it. I like working with the students.

Is it better to create a derived sketches from the skeleton sketches? Which means what ever changes you make the skeleton sketch even deleting a master line and changing it to a different shape with multiple lines, it will be reflected in the derived sketches in the core group.. Does that make sense? Will that be better?

Naming features is the biggest violation, IMO. People rarely do, which I never understood. When a coworker would open file that I worked on that they need to change, they loved it....and then never implemented it for their own work. RMT is great but you need to add naming of features as well as the organization structure.

I see your planes are above your design sketch? I thought you would make the sketch and then add planes as you offset your sketch items? This is a new way for me to look at the design, but I like it a lot. makes sense to do it this way. I will study this more. I will also go to your website for more info/training. Thanks.
