Resistance & Resistivity, An Explanation

Goes over an explanation of resistance and resistivity. Includes a worked example.
Resistivity is a property of a material that tells you how strongly it resists or conducts the flow of electric current. A low resistivity indicates a material that allows the flow of electric current. Resistivity is commonly represented by the Greek letter ρ (rho). The SI unit of electrical resistivity is the ohm-meter (Ω⋅m). Resistance of a conductor is directly proportional to the length of the conductor and inversely proportional to the cross-sectional area of the conductor.

Im a 9th grade student and we have a homework for variations. I realized that this formula was a combined variation, so it peaked my interest cuz I'm also into physics, and even though I spent all night trying to figure out this whole ohms and resistance thing, It was worth it cuz I managed to present it in our homework and I learned something new and fun. Thanks for making this video!

Great clear video but you might like to consider a future version expanding on resistivity. In this one you did give it in the units ohm-metres (which itself might benefit from explanation) which is fine for most electrical and lab work but in the electronic industry, especially where they make actual resistors and also print them as part of ceramic hybrid microcircuits, new people are often bemused to find data sheets and pots of material giving the resistivity of the contents in "ohms per square". And of course, the first question is "ohms per square what?".
