Looking at using this system on my garage conversion, thanks thats answered a lot of questions for me especially around a lantern i have constructed. Yes some people complaining its slow etc etc but its a demo not a race, so for me that was a great video. You can always skip forwards if you need to.
The main issue to use this system is to find the right weather gap. Flat roof top sheating then resitrix is definitely not a two days job, unless you're a cowboy.
thinking of using this on my roof. is that really the most efficient / effective way to do an outside corner? it seems really complex (i work with rubber flooring, sometimes in waterproof applications)
@TheRAZ01 but what is kind of material is - resitrix ? EPDM is good but you can't weld it , resitrix is EPDM ? with some special undercoating for welding , or ? bicouse regular EPDM can use with balast or glue. Yes pvc is good but 25% more expensive then EPDM ?
So all this overlap if I'm getting that installed on upstanding for the skylight then it will get bulkier approx 7.5mm in each side. That is just not good....
Use iko ultra 30 done in 2 mins and better product.... .... imagine having a row of skylights to do in this !!! Drop this guy off on job ..he'd still be fannying about at midnight
