Exactly my thoughts, does a United States Vice President have to raise another 5 million for these 2 countries again when it runs out? Are we going to have to fund raise for these 2 countries forever more to keep them from crossing our border? So the solution is to bribe citizens of these 2 countries to stay home and make their lives great? What about fund raising for American citizens? What's the timeline on those 100,000 children? And from which news source did you get this information? I can fact check also. The Border crisis is a very serious situation which requires bipartisan cooperation. The Republicans are not willing to concede so that they can use this issue as an attack during this election. We need bipartisan law. We need to be able to move forward and stop blaming and actually do something. The Republicans don't do anything and they all have their hands in the crotches of some corporate entity.

They could have put together an immigration bill instead of a hearing about how the border is in crisis & a non binding resolution before going on vacation only to come back just in time to create another fake crisis where they threaten to shut the government down, again. It could have been fixed months ago except Trump called on the House GOP to kill the bill because the border was the only thing he had to campaign on. Republicans could have written their own border bill or negotiated to amend the bi partisan bill negotiated by the Senate. But they chose to do nothing. Trump wants you to believe the border is in crisis but also that nothing can be done to fix it. Instead they should just spend all their time on fake hearings.
