I would make it a book only experience as it should be abandoned to some degree, use nightwave plaza for a radio station, the stores actually worked and you can buy things its just the cash registers are like self checkout stands. it would be called "Vaporwave: the experience."
I actually really like this. Resonance by Home happens to be one of my favorite songs, and naturally I've seen the various edits of the song in different settings like bathrooms and stores, but I've noticed that each one of them sound far too distant, to the detriment of the song's details (namely the percussion and the bells that come in at 1:30). But this version still captures both the vibe of the original song and the feeling of being in a place like a deserted mall really well. Cheers, mate.
A few days ago I went to the cinema in the closest mall where I lived, we were about 5 friends, before that, we were on a discord call where we laughed, we talked about each other and we listened to some music. After that, we meet at the mall and we saw the movie scheduled for that day (kong vs. godzilla). I love this video cause it gives me that feeling of nostalgia, I mean, we were enjoying our lives that day, nobody wanted to upload a story/posts on social media, and best of all, cause the pandemic, both the mall and the movie theater were short of people, further adding to the feeling. Just amazing
If I am there, I would be scared because if you think about the real situation you can say that is scaring hearing a song in an abandoned shopping centre
if it was some random song i would be, but if its resonance i wouldnt be because for one the song is comforting enough on its own to me, and that would mean someone would be having to play resonance, and if they chose that song that means they have amazing taste and maybe just want to try out this great experience themselves
This gives me nostalgia of a bomb ass roleplay I did when I was 15. It was a zombie apocalypse love story with a bunch of cute shit and I was genuinely invested in it. Honestly would make a great book.

Was this really played inside an Actual Mall, or did someone just Rerecorded it off their pc with an Eco Effect in their Sound Software? Me and my Brother have that Software by default on our PCs.
