He had his pinky finger under the 8 holding it up then placed the other card on top then when he flipped that put the 8 up top and the other card under it
If the person who this trick was being pulled on was a tall young japanese man in a school suit with a black cap, the dealers finger would've been broken instantly
When he flipped the ace and the 8 of spades with the ace on top, the flip makes the 8 of spades go to the top which he gave back to the other guy to bamboozle him. It's a good trick.
For those who dont know the trick, when he had the stack of cards in his hand before handing him one he flipped BOTH cards giving the other guy the card with multiple hearts
For those who didn't understand - he bent the 8 and kept A on it. When he flipped, he flipped the 8, A went in 2nd spot when flipped & 8 came at top. He then gave top card to him making him think he's having A.

After watching lots of times over, I've found it out! 1. You have one card face up 2. You let the other person choose a card 3. You put that face up card on top of the other face up card 4. (Important) You flip over BOTH of the cards so that the original face up card is on top 5. You put the top card on the table and let the other person choose if they want that one instead 6. Flip the cards over and blow the other person's mind
Its actually very easy , lemme explain , when he showed him all the cards , if you observe he already flipped a Black one with no.8 card towards himself , and the other guy chose the A card , when he formed the deck again, the card with no.8 was flipped already , all the cards faced below him , and card no.8 faced towards him , now , he also took the card A from the other guy , and he kept it above all the cards including the card no.8 , but A card was also facing up , now here comes the trick , Now he flipped both the cards facing down , so technically , when you face them down , the Card A will go below card no. 8 , and card no.8 will become the topmost card , but the other guy believes it was the card A but in actual when he picks it up again from the top , it was card no 8 due to the trick the magician pulled , and when the magician picked the second card and showed to him , thats why it was card A
Decent. I give that double lift a 7 out of 10. Pinky makes it slightly too obvious and could move a little more naturally. You don't need to grope the cards

The trick here is very simple. He already has 1 card(8 of spades) flipped. He places the ace of hearts on top of the 8 of spades and flips them both. He then gives the top card, which is now the 8 of spades, to the audience and takes the second card, which is now the ace of hearts, for himself.

He puts the ace on top of the 8 then he sneakily flips both cards so the 8 is on top of the ace. When he gives the top card to the other guy, that card is the 8. If you notice after the other guy chooses a card, the guy holding the deck of cards bends the bottom of the 8 card so he can flip it easy when the chosen card is placed on top.
When pulled off by a master, the movement is unnoticeable by any rookie. He used a finger method to take the card beneath the top without his client seeing.
