I guess some people still do not get that it is an open styles dance battle so no matter how much you think others are so called "not staying true to the culture" you gotta at least have to decency to respect the opposing side. I'm sure most of the people know that GreenTeck vs Salah had a battle without respect each other a few years ago. at that time, also GreenTeck had the wrong attitude as well.

Now if people are visiting your place then you can battle that way, it's your house, whatever, doesn't mean it's not disrespectful. Professionalism even in street stuff is good, any way you look at it. If you're in a different place then you fucking be a gracious guest and respect house rules.

Guys, Greenteck didn't just pour water on Wizzard...he also pushed Wizzard off the stage when Wizzard was trying to show love and respect. You can still be gangster, and hard as shit but there's no need to be hostile: That's not hip hop. As long as there's no physical harm? Maybe someone should take your hat pour water on it, key your car, and vandalize your house. Observe what happens when it escalates - was it "hip hop" when Tupac got shot on the street? Was that "cool"?
You kind of derive from your point here but I'll entertain it none the less, in a battle if you get in someone's face you should be prepared for what happens to you, pouring water on someone isn't as disrespectful as you think, as a gesture it's rude but in battle that's heat of the moment, you could go as far as saying trying to hug him is disrespectful.. everyone's sweaty and you want to fully hug someone you been cussing out whilst battling? I think wizzard should have kept his space to himself after the water and then confronted him after the battle. That would have been the better procedure imo. Greenteck didn't need to pour water on him. But you see as wizzard hugs him he tries to push him off but the momentum takes it and ends up pushing him off stage.. everyone should learn something from this and not make it a topic of discussion. It was his hostility towards someone that didn't even deserve it. Furthermore, people have been hugged in numerous battles. I saw greentech hug eun.g a few months ago after a battle. I didn't see him push her off the stage or treat her with hostility. A battle is a battle. Sure be rude, and be prepared for it but you go over the line be prepared for the community to lash out like this.
He ran and hug greentech. After he already poured water him. Should of left well enough alone. He killed him with dancing and winning the battle. Greentech losing a battle to him and costing his team to lose was a lesson later that will be learnt in time. He forgot there is no I in team.

Mighty Zulu Kings is a crew comprised of older hip hop heads who were there when hip hop was founded (or other members whose skill was recognized by them such as Robin) but sometimes use that as an excuse to behave like assholes, being stupidly aggressive and disrespectful in battle because to them that's "true hip hop culture". Don't get me wrong I'm all for heated battles and call outs but straight up interfering with your opponent's round in such a manner is not a battle strategy, it's an insult and if you did that in any other context you'd get punched and for a reason. Doesn't matter where you are if you behave like a dick you're gonna be treated like the imbecile you are. Greenteck is undeniably a good dancer but if he brings that mentality to the international scene he can stay in his circlejerk all he wants, nobody needs him and that trashy attitude at jams, it ruins the event for everybody involved.

He hugged him at the end of the battle, and although I agree that was unwanted for Greenteck, Wizzard probably didn't want water poured on his face DURING his round either. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. It was not an act of disrespect in the middle of the battle it was Wizzard signifying he doesn't hold a grudge against Greenteck's dumb attitude at the very end of the battle, and you can clearly the different response from either side. Wizzard played it cool while Greenteck got triggered instantly.
You people need to stop being hypocrites. First of all, Wizarrd did not enjoy it. People who actually know Wizarrd said that Wizarrd was actually pissed. The only reason as to why he didn't immediately flip out was because Wizarrd is a bigger person. Secondly, Wizzard wasn't going to kiss him. The moment he poured the water it is not about competition anymore. It is not even about the battle. I might not like that kind of attitude from Greenteck, but I understand it. He made a clear point.
