Respect, Submission, Forgiveness and Trust 

Hoping to clear up the definitions of these important concepts and to clarify which ones are unconditional and which are conditional.
Jesus IS God. He is absolutely equal to God. But there is an authority structure in the Godhead in I Corinthians 11:3
Submission begins in the Godhead where the Son submits to the Father in love, even though He is equal to the Father. It is similar in marriage. The wife is equal in value and worth to her husband (Genesis 1:26, Galatians 3:28, I Peter 3:7), but she honors the authority God has given to her husband.
If a husband asks his wife to clearly sin, she must obey God rather than men (Acts 5:28-29, Ephesians 5:22-33). But we do want to be careful that the issue truly is sin, not just a difference of personal convictions. peacefulwife.co...
