@@SimplesRugs look up Miranda rights and read them. Everyone has the right to an attorney as well as remain silent as cops fish for charges where there are none all the time. Your take is ignorant.
Jealous of what? Cops are trained to behave like this and the officer is eager to do her job correctly. Even though it's BS, it's a car and mouse game at the end of the day.

"Let this be a lesson to you" She learned two lessons actually: 1) Cops aren't your friends, and 2) Never voluntarily let an officer search your vehicle
They would say they smelled weed and had a K9 search her on some BS. You comply they rail road you, you exercise your rights and they railroad you. Either way you’re screwed.
This is a hard lesson to learn about general rights. Saying no to being searched while using the word "lawyer" has saved me from cops who wanted to waste my time.
Yes and no Lux. I've always been straightforward with police. They have a job to do and I'm not trying to make it any harder. They do with all kinds of idiots, and they deal with all kind of people that just are having bad days. I've had to deal with getting tickets for my ignorance. I've also gotten warnings and let off on things they certainly could have arrested and fined me for. They are not all bad. In fact most of them are generally good folks. Some have had bad days and shity bosses. But they took that job to be the change. While most people complain about what they do not have or what is wrong in the world and not actually do a single f****** thing about it. A ride along might actually do you some good. That is not to say you are a criminal. I'm not saying that you have no respect for officers. I'm just asking you to take a look at it from their perspective. That being said this is f****** nonsense what they are doing to this girl.
I'm based in the UK but still love this content. Anyway the one thing I've learnt in life is that justice is rarely just and the police will be hard with everyone, as they simply run into a lot of bad people. They're jaded, it's understandable but know your rights and teach your kids their rights. Being innocent won't save you if you talk or walk your way into something. Don't give the police an inch and if you really have done something wrong then they have to prove it.
This made me feel so empty. She wasn't hurting anybody, she was honest, respectful, cooperative, etc. She didn't deserve this. I really hope she bounced back and is doing well now.
Another example of the myth of the “just comply” argument. Especially considering things like the Tyre Nichols case, where multiple officers were yelling conflicting commands during their assault
@@bigboss3314 I mean....yes but also no. You don't have to "comply" with say a request for searching your vehicle. At the very least deny their request and make it clear you don't consent to any searches, an if they search it anyway, deal with that in court. Also I mean what are you supposed to if you aren't resisting at all and officers are literally trying to kill you? Just let it happen? That's not really an option. Fortunately that sort of mistreatment is pretty rare. Otherwise comply with commands and arrests, and sort it out in court later, but you can and should vocalize that you do not consent to any of it. Then later you can handle it in court.
Seems like two female cops were getting revenge on all of the "mean" girls they had to deal with in high school. Absolutely shameful. They should lose their badges.
This young woman will grow up absolutely despising the police now and the police will wonder why the vast majority of citizens have a bad attitude towards them
We would all be so much better off with that context, the best we can do is trust there's a good reason why someone acts nasty and show them you're different.
I got pulled over on New Year’s Eve a couple years back because of a busted license plate lightbulb after some jerkass rolled into me at a traffic stop earlier in the year and fled the scene instead of stopping to check if I was okay (I was fine by the way, if a little shaken up by the accidental fender bender). This dude was clearly wanting to run my license and my plates to see if there was anything he could give me a ticket for, but since the only thing he could ticket me for due to my otherwise clean record was the busted lightbulb illuminating the license plate holder and that would likely not stand up in court due to the aforementioned fender bender that I thankfully made a police report on right after it happened, I got let go with a warning and a sheepish “Happy New Year”. 😆
“vast majority of citizens” might wanna check some stats. Most people support police. Leon has dozens of videos of police doing things perfectly on this channel so if you are gonna nit pick one video then you are just bad faith
@Gwazi I've had cops invent things, nowhere near the truth, and try to hem me up. That was years ago and it still follows me. I hate the SOBs with a passion because of it. Are there good cops out there, I hope so; but I damn sure know there are a bunch of power hungry corrupt ones running around looking for anything to hang on someone.
This is a prime example of why every American should be educated on their rights. In this situation, a simple, no I do not consent to a search, would have prevented all of this. There was no probable cause, no exigent circumstances, no plain view, etc.
Probable cause is so vague purposely lmao they can just make up any excuse they want. Oh she was acting nervous or I smelled something weird or I SAW HER REACH FOR HER PURSE as if she was concealing something.
Looks like a pair of, either rookies, or butch lady cops with something to prove. I'm obviously attributing motive but I can think of another reason maybe they wanted to get her out of the car. Disgusting.
Working in Law Enforcement myself but also once getting arrested on bullshit pretenses when I was young and dumb - I could tell immediately these 2 officers were new and just sniffing for any opportunity to feel “spotlighted.” Their overly hard charged attitudes were ridiculous and I completely agree with your opinions. Although I LOVE and support our LEO’s there’s always a couple bad apples in every work field. I see some officers like this - they search everything and get a hard on for anything not caring to affect anyone. Hope these two receive a humbling experience in their careers. Love your videos!
@@abdou.the.heretic then you sue them in court. Your mentality is awful and whether the K-9s come or not is irrelevant: you DO NOT consent because you need to give your lawyer as many chances as possible to defend you. When you are interacting with an an officer, you need to assume they are building a case against you. Because they usually are. Your job is to build your defense, and the worse thing you can do for your case is talk. Second worst thing is consent to a search without a warrant.
The issue I have with the officer is the fake sweet talk like Leon pointed out, but it seems like she genuinely does enjoy the power she had when they finally “got her”
It felt like a moment of extreme passive aggression. She didn’t deserve any of this and I started feeling like the officers just rolled with the fact she was non threatening and they could take out some hostility on her. Really shitty.
Exactly this. The whole thing was pushed and provoked by the cops, and they took advantage of this girl. People are ambushing police and murdering them in cold blood, yet this is the absolute best that they can muster when dealing with a respectable individual. Imo, they're doing their colleagues a dangerous disservice.
The first thing i did when those cuffs went on was shake my head with disappointment. Poor girl was nailed the second that "back up" officer arrived on the scene
The worst part about this is they punish her for being compliant, honest, nice and friendly with the police. Now she will be less likely to do those behaviors in the future
Well, yea. After the fact if the cops just let her go they'd face discipline. Always act compliant during a stop, but not honest and open, that only works in the cops favor and rarely your own.
@@stefanjohansson2373 They ran her plate without cause, then they did whatever they had to until they could find a violation despite her not having done anything that would have justified the traffic stop. Predatory. I takes a specific kind of person to act so friendly to someone while they’re actively working to try and ruin your life! Thankfully she got a compassionate judge or this could have changed her life forever. One thing’s for sure, her opinion of law enforcement has changed!
typical police officers, the whole reason so many of them act so similar is because police recruitment and academies look for a certain type of person, well at least up here in Canada where all police officers go through the exact same training facility in Regina, so they come out the same, as well as looking for a certain type of attitude. You can literally be too smart or reasonable to be a police officer here.
@@paddington1670not to mention specifically FEMALE officers seem to have this total bug up her ass, B!TCH attitude. Like they are God because they were given a badge and a set of cuffs.
WOW, this brings bad memories. Growing in a communist country with ridiculous rules you would not believe what kind of BS cops would come up with to find a reason to give you a ticket. For example, you had to have a spare, lift Jack but also a reflective triangle AND a first aid kit. If you were missing any of them, you got a ticket. But they would also go through said First Aid kit and give you a ticket if something was missing or not in working order. Have you ever heard of anyone getting a ticket for having scissors in your First Aid kit being too dull ? Well, I have seen in happen. Déjàvu!!! Plus , on top of it all, it was common hearing cops saying: “That will be 100 with a ticket or 50 without it … 🤬
Whats so crazy is those officers 100% have discretion. They could take that dumbass weed pen, and those fake ID's and throw them in the trash, or if they really want to, take them to the Property Room and submit them for destruction. This is the type of scenario that KILLS the public's trust in law enforcement. We need to do better than this, and not turn normal citizens into criminals.
I've seen this happen a few times with people that I know. when the tow company doesn't update the State database about the status of the car (that you got it OUT of impound), then the States doesn't know that it was picked up by the owner. I've seen this happen AT LEAST a dozen times by this one tow company in our town. they got sued into bankruptcy for pulling this shit on OVER 100 people and eventually did it to some high power lawyer that got a parking ticket and was towed. the lawyer was visiting in town on business and didn't know about some special parking zone and was towed. he accepted it and paid the fine and the towing and impound fees and got his car back. a month later his car popped on a random parking lot check in his home town and they towed (another company) his car. once he found out why it got towed, he started investigating the first tow company. he found more than 100 people that got into trouble for this same stuff, so he filed a class action lawsuit against the tow company. the lawyer won and they got something like $58 Million and the company went under after paying it. THEN there was a CRIMINAL investigation and 3 (I think) people went to jail for it.
Crap like this fair dinkum makes me scared to go back to the US on holidays. When that Aussie woman who married an American and was living in the states got shot dead for no reason, nah, I think I'll holiday elsewhere as I don't want to end up dead or in Jail. It does, it scares me. 🤷🏼♀️
I saw this one a few days ago. I thought it was ridiculous. She’s just being a 20 year old. She was respectful, and not in danger of hurting anybody. Take the IDs and give a warning and let her go. This girl isn’t the type of person that needs to be taken off the streets.
i feel like someone should make a law that if someone is being respectful and %100 cooperative, cops should give a warning or ticket. got some alcohol in the back of your car at 20? take the case and give a ticket. (If they aren't drunk after you test them) got some weed and no "medical id"? take the weed and give a ticket. (if they aren't high after you test them) if they have alcohol ask if they have fake ID's. you could also try to get the name of the person making them, and arrest THAT person instead. aka stop the source. like the DEA does with drugs. they go under cover and find who's making the drugs then arrest the others after.
Pssst, that's not how the law works. Also you'd have a completely different opinion if it was a 60 year old registered offender with drugs and false IDs.... the same laws apply to every citizen, it's not a pick a choose game. She broke the law and she has to deal with the consequences. There's a reason laws exist, and there's no reason for someone to get a free pass just because of their age or gender.
I'm reading this before watching and am so excited to see what you're talking about 😂, I work as a graphic designer in the label industry and deal with this shit all the time

I wouldn't say *never* trust cops because there are people who do their jobs wanting to help or are sympathetic, but be skeptical, cordial, don't over share, and make sure you know and use your rights. Even if they are law enforcement/public safety, they are still total strangers to you, and may feel that it is just their job to some or get power drunk. Edit to add: Besides who are you going to call if you or someone close to you needs help medically or against an active assailant? A crackhead?

@@tisa6193 you deal with that when it gets there. They can’t illegally extend the length of a traffic stop to wait for a canine. Luckily, the 4th amendment limits how long traffic stops are allowed to be. Refusing a search of the car only gives you a better chance of getting out of there. Cops can plant drugs just as easily as they can cue a canine to alert. So if they’re going to be corrupt either way, why make it easier for them? Make them follow the letter of the law, and if they don’t, you can get the charges thrown out and/or sue them for violating your rights.
Actually if it smelled like weed she could say and the officers could detain her and apply for a search warrant which takes an additional 2-3hours. So yes, you can say no, but if you’re in a state where weed is illegal, all you’re doing is making the incident take twice as long.
I am a police officer and viewing this , its clear there is an underlying reason for thr arrest. Not to take the fake IDs or THC off her , more because of jealousy / power.
Totally agree. Was scrolling to find similar comment. Women have the most social power sexually at an early age. These cops having been young see this girl and are jealous; only to resort to an abuse of their existing so-called power.
Pretty obvious jealousy, the blonde chick got fat after high school and is jealous of how pretty she is and her body while the other one was never pretty so hates pretty girls pretty easy to see lol
Actually as traffic stops are one of the most dangerous things cops do in their line of work, she may not have even called for backup, the other cop may have just responded when the first one called in to dispatch. Not excusing what they did to this girl, I kinda had the same reaction as most everyone else the first time I saw this clip.
@museysmoderndreadfuls well that isn't even close to true, the piggies almost never go it alone these days. I've been pulled over for not using my blinker and had three cops behind me, I didn't even get the ticket almost every time I've ever been pulled over atleast one more pulls up.

Something very similar happened to me just after college graduation. I can tell you, psychologically, it does set you back. Both these cops went home and got drunk/high after work and felt great about their day's work. Bet.
The one officer said: "I want this to be a lesson" she doesn't realize that the whole traffic stop IS THE LESSON. It's exactly the right amount of lesson, in fact.
These are the type of cops that convince people that police are just out here to bust us. Seems like a bit of a power trip. She was honest, respectful and did everything requested of her. She would have faired better if she lied, was rude and argumentative. I wonder how she is going to handle her next police interaction.
I'd argue the majority of police are just out here to bust us. They view arrests and 'busts' as a performance stat and celebrate them. They want to score the most points and arrest the most people, no matter whose lives they are fucking in the process. Fuck the entire system. Needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. There is a shit load of corruption out there. See Long Island Audit.
Power trip yes. But also "The Quota System". Cops have to give out a certain amount of tickets, and make a certain amount of arrests. Or they're punished. Loss of vacay days, undesirable assignments. Even suspension. And more arrests looks great come raise/promotion time.
Because most of them are. They swear an oath to the constitution and then in states like CA enforce unconstitutional laws. It isn’t just asking for an attorney.. you have to say the words IM INVOKING MY RIGHT TO PLEAD THE 5th. Or IM PLEADING THE 5th so I won’t be answering any questions without a lawyer. I just saw The Civil Rights Lawyer channel explaining how cops can keep asking questions if you say either side of it but when you put it together they have to stop. I’m only commenting bc I have teenage drivers who are learning as well. I’ve told them wrong a few times & had to correct it. I’ve sent them mandatory videos 😂 ~they’re getting it 👌. Have a lovely day 🌹🌹 ps. My 19 yr daughter got a ticket for not stopping at the sign. In court she showed her dash & rear cams.. she walked out paying 0. The cam setup paid for itself 3+ times in one ticket👏👏👏 just saying if there’s young drivers (or anyone) who wants to prove innocence, get a dash & rear cam. Cops lie. Also upgrade SD card to the heavy duty type. Normal ones can’t take the heat & cold inside of vehicles for long . They’re $12 or so.. it’d be hated to see the card didn’t work 😅
That’s the way they all are, male or female, whether you really did something wrong or not. They don’t believe in innocent until proven guilty anymore. They believe guilty and more guilty, unless you are given a verdict of innocent from court. And even then they may still believe the person is guilty and harass them for years. They do underhanded things to people’s families and friends “for the course of justice”, never caring about what happens to them or the destruction they cause in their lives. They just condemn everyone to the worst fate possible that is available to them at that time. They cause chaos and violence and don’t clean up after themselves when they were called to deal with violence themselves and just don’t. Police are needed for emergency situations but it’s really so hard to want to call them for anything at all.
In ALL of my experiences, when you "respectfully decline" a search of your vehicle and persons, they do indeed make vague threats and use their power as leverage to get what they want.
And if you're fully aware that they have a body cam that is on (doubly if you have a dash cam of your own) you let them make as many veiled threats as they want, continue to decline. If they overstep their legal authority at that point? Take your charges to court which the officers likely wouldn't even show up for unless they're too dumb to know what they're doing because it would undoubtedly be thrown out in court will all provided evidence. THEN have a hay-day with the two officers in question and the department with your own lawsuit that you would most probably win -- then enjoy your ~$125K settlement.

Leon, you're absolutely right! I initially saw this girl on a different channel and said the same thing. Like I said on the other channel, in the old days, the cops would have cut up the IDs, watched her while they made her drop the weed down a nearby sewer, and sent her on her way with a stern warning. Save the strong stuff for the people who deserve it. This young woman was totally cooperative and respectful, and they jammed her up for it. Also, I'm old enough to remember when you could drink at 18 or 19 in many states, so give me a break with the vaping comments. I hope she keeps vaping. As someone who was never a smoker but started vaping several years ago, I find vaping wonderful. It's a great stress reliever. She's much better off having a vaping addiction than a cigarette addiction, which is just disgusting and more deadly.
I know when I was growing up each state had their own drinking age. Unfortunately at that time I was living in Pennsylvania where the drinking age was 21. Luckily the town I lived in was five miles from the New York state border where the drinking age was 18. Even better this was before they started putting your picture on your driver's license, so you could use someone else's. They even accepted your birth certificate as proof of age. Try that now especially with those two bitches.
I suggest you educate yourself about what you vape and inhale. That stuff isn´t healthy either...I rather smoke tobacco than a potpouri of chemicals. Some of which aren´t even on the label.
Our government in Australia has banned them completely and had ads out that they are up to 10 times worse than cigarettes. You're inhaling hydrocarbons which are highly carcinogenic and causes de fatting of the cells , in this case in the lungs. In Australia all vapes regardless of the type are illegal now for these reasons.
@@tabbi888 But let me guess... cigarettes are still legal. What a joke! While I'm not trying to say that either one is good for you, ads stating that vapes are '10 times worse' is clearly misinformation. It's wrong just from the standpoint of the tar alone. The tar in cigarettes is responsible for the vast majority of the lung damage, not to mention the other 200+ chemicals in cigarettes smoke, which makes cigarettes much more carcinogenic by a long shot. Vapes have no tar, which makes them safer on that aspect alone, and they only have 3 or 4 basic chemicals compared to the 200+ in cigarettes. I should specify that I'm speaking of regular, standard commercial vapes. Granted, there are black market vapes where people try to infuse cannabis and/or mix unapproved and unsuitable substances into their formulas that have NEVER been approved for human consumption. These types of vapes can, indeed, be very dangerous, and in the US, these have never been legal to begin with. Actually, every case of EVALI that we have had in US has been traced to these illegal and 'homemade' vape formulas, but the authorities conveniently leave that fact out of their statistics. It's very clear to me that the tobacco companies go out of their way to convince people that vaping is more hazardous than smoking, when in fact, that's simply not the case when we are talking about standard commercial products on both sides. Again, I'm in agreement that it's best not to do either one, but I think it's clear that vaping is the lesser of two evils. Speaking of Australia, though, I find it outrageous that they have completely outlawed vapes while continuing to allow tobacco, which is a truly proven health hazard. Australia has become quite the 'nanny' state is recent years. No guns, no vapes, and very little recognition of personal responsibility. I remember the 1970s, when Australia was a great country. Now it's more like... Utopia.... as portrayed in the following short film: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vJYaXy5mmA8.html
😂 what a clown. She had multiple fake IDs and a marijuana pen (whether legal in the state or not, it's illegal to drive high) Cops were just doin their jobs. They were extremely polite, and well within their rights. Not every woman is jealous of other women. Don't wanna get arrested don't break the law. In any capacity. And if you do take accountability for your poor decisions. But definitely don't try the dog water excuse of "she's just jealous" That's just weak!! 😂
And now this respectful girl, who probably supported the police before this, will never look at a cop the same way again. Thank you for doing this video. I watched this body cam footage a few days ago and had the same exact reaction you did!! The way these cops acted infuriated me!! Slapping this poor girl with a felony!!?? Totally shameful.
so she has fake ids, she's parked in front a fire hydrant, she's smoking weed illegally? what's the problem here? I feel bad because she made a mistake but the cops just did their job. she is probably used by some people because she is so unassuming. you know criminals get women to carry stuff for them like this all the time right? people need to stop crumbling when these women cry.
This doesn´t even exist in Sweden. This is a unbelievable situation to me. Cops wouldn´t arrest you for something like this and as long as you drive the vehicle it isn´t abandoned, obviously. There are so many regulations in this video that is completely alien to me. That is not how police work here at all.
@@Pholiage Yeah, well sorta. Our justice system is all about rehabilitation, not punishment. Since we don´t have many repeat offenders or high crime compared to other nations, it is working. It works better than punishment obviously.
Honestly, dude, as a European, no matter where you're from exactly, most of these laws from the "Land of the Free" make it look like a dystopian tyranny of a police state by comparison. Where I'm from, I could have my car towed with the trunk filled to the brim with weed and booze at 18 years old, and the police would simply tell me where they relocated the car to and why, and that they have to, unfortunately, fine me for parking like an idiot, and that's it. Would probably cost me as much as going to the cinema these days, and the worst that could happen would be facing an officer berating me for parking like a dick, which in this fictional case, I actually did.

It's not illegal when she gave them permission. It was going to happen either way. If she said no to the search, they would have had a k9 come out and "hit" on the car and search it that way. These women were hell bent on arresting this women. If you think women are jealous of other women, now imagine an ugly fat middle aged female cop that pulls over a young beautiful woman. Lol
Almost identical situation happened to me when I was 20 as well. Happens all too often and really does effect your life. I know cops have to do their job but the wrong cop could ruin an “innocent” kids life over something minor in the big picture.
We been brainwashed our whole lives that cops are here for you until you have a real interaction with them and see how much everything you were told is bullshit. I am glad that narrative isn't going around anymore and people are seeing them for what they are. They have a job to do but they do it in the most slimey and greasy way possible.
Most officers in my area would just take the fake ids and the weed pen and tell them to not catch them doing this again. Sad how some officers just go on a power trip for no reasons.
what??? Imagine being a judge and "NOT" having to deal with this stuff all the time... *(but choosing to allow it to continue anyway) Judges + Prosecutors + Cops = 🎪⚖💩
Here in the UK we can legally drink at 18, although we used to go to pubs aged 15 or 16 sometimes. As for the fake ID, isn't that a commonplace thing in the US? These 2 female cops just seemed jealous of the young, attractive woman and were determined to mess with her one way or the other. The patronising remarks were uncalled for and the passive aggressive attitude is not what we expect from law enforcement. *Shame on both those officers.*
Yep. My friend an I got pulled over. They asked to search. She said no. The cops got the dog who apparently smelled something, so they searched the car anyways. They didn't find anything because there was nothing to find. They then made us wait for a female cop to come so she could search us. It was ridiculous. It was all just unnecessary.
Yeah but I feel like it usually goes worse for you when you deny them that, as much as I support the police they always see it as a red flag when you don't let them do something.

She asked her when the last time she smoked weed is because they want to see what could be in her system if they test her, so they can add another charge on 🤦🏼♀️ P.s. I honestly believe that this is a typical exhibit of not only abuse of power, but literally hating on the pretty girl && it really looked to me like the backup cop was trying to make her feel uncomfy, guilty and vulnerable from the get go.
Weed will flag up in your system long after any effect it has on you sadly ( around 28 days ) here in the UK it caused huge issues around 30 or 40 years ago , wardens ( prison officers ) refused to take drugs tests unless inmates would randomly get them also , so all those that inmates that smoked weed ( that wardens would bring into the prison ) moved on to heroine as it was out of your system much quicker ( wardens also brought that into the prison ) .. no this is not personal experience but from a close older friend that came out of prison addicted to smack
1st they have to justify the charge of intoxication. Body and dash cam footage would go against them with that. Testing for substances in your system cannot be the sole evidence in a DUI/DWI case. It won't even make it past a DA's desk. 2nd they are not abusing their power. They requested consent through the entire interaction and the young girl wasn't taught by anyone what her rights are or how to handle this situation. What they did is called fishing.
@sithassassinstl7864 Actually, if they have a reason to test you...alcohol and pot have prescribed limits... above which you can be charged and convicted.
Exactly. Unless you have an obvious plain insight unlawful fruits of a crime or weapons or you are wanted...."no" to a search if is just a traffic stop. A felony stop....just cooperate and say nothing except what is required by law.
I think the same motive to stop her allows them a legal search of the vehicle... I know it’s nonsensical, sadly they stopped her because they could: I think this is a grift, a con... $$$ x2 for a vehicle already paid to leave... it’s corruption, nothing done here was unplanned. I hope the pair of fatsos get fired, arrested... anything!
They don't need a warrant to search your car on a traffic stop. Just probable cause. Usually they'll say they "smell" weed.. Now if you were like me when I was 20 years old and you had Grateful Dead stickers and tie dye all over your car. They would just say they smelled weed, and let's be honest. They probably did smell weed.. Thankfully where I live now pot is legal. So they can't search your car just by saying they "smell weed.." 0:02 0:02
@@cardigansruleweed is now "legal" in your area? Weed is still against federal law, so no, it's not "legal" in any way. They can still use it as an excuse to fuck with you.

Just like the guy that got arrested for “cocaine residue” and it took months of waiting for lab tests to figure out it was donut glazing. There’s also a similar incident of bird poop on the hood. Both incidents are on bodycam video.
@@BrooklynBalla And the cops that have a habit of planting evidence. They don't all do that, i should clarify, BUT it is a possibility one should take into consideration. They could frame you.
As much as I agree with you, she was probably going to get popped either way. They had probable cause to search the vehicle, based on the traffic infraction alone. If she says “No” to the search, that might’ve pushed them more to do a search. The “what could she be hiding” line of thinking, so then they call for K-9, which would likely gotten a “hit” on the one-hitter. Or not, and they say they do, and then commence with searching the vehicle. Then they find the ID’s, so she gets arrested for it anyway, and could make them go harder with the charges, since she actually attempted to assert her Rights. That puts more pressure on the situation, and who knows what else they might’ve charged her with, or incriminate herself just answering the questions they ask her. I know it’s a bunch of what ifs, but sh*t like that happens all the time.
Uncle has been a sherif for 35 years. I get it. For real. The shit they have to deal with is freaking bananas. But even he wouldn't do some shit like this. This is straight up abuse of power. You aren't her fucking parent, teacher, etc. You have better shit to do than harass this girl. Some of the stories my uncle John has told me, makes genuinely worried. This? Come tf on. He's been doing this for a long time and has always said that if you're respectful, polite, honest, it's gonna go WAY better for you.
I think the worse thing about this is that they were condescending to her also; like as they already had her handcuffed and had to point out that they have been tiding this for a long time and “knew” she was up to no good.
The RIGHT thing for the officers to do here is just confiscate the IDs and weed pen and tell her she could be charged for possession of that stuff but they are letting her off with a "warning". That's what happened to me as a teenager and I learned my lesson and was thankful to the officers. I bet this girl would have been the same.
That weed pen could be legal. She might not understand the pens just like how to talk to cops. Cbd, cbn, and cbg are all legal cannabinoids. Most states have other cannabinoids, aka thc, as legal. Comes in thca, thcb and so much more. Literally the only illegal thc left is 9, the main one everyone been fighting for. Should have tested it. Didn't have to read the rights until it was determined what was in the pen
the problem is nowadays they can't really do warnings for stuff like felony ID possession and stuff like that because of bodycams. The bodycams would show them "not enforcing the law properly" to their superiors and they could get punished. The thing they could have done though, is not even probe about the search. That would've been the not-dick option to do. But since they did, the moment they find something nowadays, they have to act on it.
@@thekamotodragonexactly. There's footage of officers pulling other officers over and they state because of the footage they have to proceed. Some seem to think let everything fly. If we were to do that, where are lines crossed🤷♀️
I feel like anytime someone denies a search request, they just automatically radio in for a K9, which means it would have alerted on the vape device and then they'd have accused her of hiding "drugs", etc.
@@dlpacres4718 even if that had happened and she had been arrested under worse charges, the outcome would have been better for her. This young girl being arrested for being a dunb young girl, meanwhile children are being tortured to death by abusive parents because nobody pays attention to their outcries. The justice system in this country is outrageous.
Like everyone is saying in the comments, these female cops arrested this girl because they were jealous and just wanted to screw with her and cause her problems and cost her a ton of money. The exact same thing happens with DCFS/CPS cases in this country, the "caseworkers" have such a personal problem with the mother, often jealousy and just wanting to throw their weight around to cause you issues, that they take children away for literally the dumbest reasons. They forge signatures on safety plans and lie about the entire encounter creating problems that weren't there just to take children away from a loving home. This happens so damn much it would blow your mind if you knew the actual numbers, all while they are clogging up the court system and dragging an innocent family through hell is when they don't "investigate* an actual situation of child abuse. They have so many cases where the goal is a personal vendetta and to hurt the mother using the power they have that they shouldn't have ever gotten and an innocent child is being murdered....like A.J. Freund. I went to high school with his mother and it's amazing how they ignored what was happening in that home, even returning A.J. at 18 months old to the house of horrors....why? Too many cases trying to hurt a mother that was beautiful and they felt physically threatened to give a shit about an actual abuse situation. Sickening.

These are the kind of cops that give LEOs a bad name. They're fishing for anything they can because it gives them their sense of self-worth that they proved their authority. They completely took advantage of that woman who was nothing but respectful the entire fucking time. I hope these Officers and the department are embarrassed every time they see this video, because the non-predatory LEOs that exist can't fucking stand this shit that makes everyone in a uniform look bad. They're not out to protect and serve, they're out to pad their stats and pound their chests like they're making a difference. They've completely ignored the human side of their job in favor of trying to find anything they possibly can. Technically what the police did is 'legal,' but there was no reason for them to think they had to. The best thing for her to do was not even respond to the second Officer. Just tell her 'I already told the other Officer that information." When asked if she could search the car; absolutely fucking not. Never, ever, ever consent to a vehicle search. This is coming from a LEO. If I ever get stopped, I will absolutely never consent to a search. The only thing that can happen is bad. Vehicle searches are never used to exonerate, they're used to fish for more. And if they can't find anything during their search, they might just find a way to 'discover' something that you didn't even know was there. The other comments here are also true. She will forever hate the Police. She will make sure any of her kids hate the Police. She will never trust the Police again, and if she is put in a position as a witness where the Police want her statement, she will absolutely never give it to them. You can't fuck up someone's life on some basic bullshit like that and tell them you're "teaching her a lesson." And don't get me wrong, sure the charges were dropped after the community service, but those Officers knew that what they were doing could lead to a prison sentence. Teaching her a lesson would be confiscating and destroying the fake IDs and weed pen, and telling her to be careful in the future, telling her that not all Officers she encounters would be as lenient. That would have gone so much further in maintaining trust than the rage-inducing actions they decided to take.
